leading us off the beaten path to discover the intentional art of wandering. We look beyond
the scribbled “X” on a tattered map, our curiosity woven into the journey that lies ahead on
the dirt road of promise.
Our photography roots run as deep into the alluvial soil as the tribe of bare trees ahead of
us, their branches tangled in one another, lifting their brothers, growing as one. The blaze
of a nearby campfire illuminates the backdrop of night, its embers dancing with delight,
fueling the passion already lit deep within us.
This is our wolf pack, our tribe.

The Journey
Richard and I believe that the true journey of this art form is to uncover something
uniquely brilliant in each of us – our voice. The photographer speaks in images, and so
finding our voice means cultivating a definitive, evocative, and original style in our work
while collectively refining the subtlety and power of our craft. How do we do this? Quite
simply, our voice emerges clearly only after years of hard work – rigorous practice,
serious reflection, continuous study, occasional failure, and sometimes periods of
heartbreak. While the absolute truth is that there’s no quick or easy way around any
of this, it helps to know that with courage and curiosity we can discover enormous
pleasures throughout this complex journey of artistic growth.
For the beautiful image, simplicity is everything. And yet in the beginning, or during
periods of growth in our career, the purity and elegance of simplicity can become
utterly obscured by technical confusion, disorganized shoots, and complicated post-
production that leads to overworked and underwhelming images. And while it hasn’t
happened overnight for us, this journey is slowly but surely yielding an astonishing
gift – the ability to speak volumes with our work. We understand now that timeless
portraiture is most often defined not by artifice or pretense but by simplicity, clarity, and
honesty. The very best images evoke a sense of effortlessness, while simultaneously
reflecting the creative mastery of the artist behind the lens.
We believe that if you work hard to develop confidence in your work and this art form
while maintaining a humble presence, beautiful images will follow. In addition, always
practice patience. We’ve been in business for over twelve years and are still evolving. If
we’ve learned anything, it’s that finding your creative voice takes time, dedication, and
a willingness to change. And ensure you enjoy the process because ultimately, that’s
what it’s really all about.

LR PRESET INSTALLATION
AUTOMATIC:
1. Unzip the Preset file.
2. Go to the Develop module. Right click the “User Preset” folder in the preset panel and choose import.
3. Browse to the unziped folder of the Lr Presets and select them, then click the import button.
MANUAL: {RECOMMENDED}
1. Unzip the Presets file.
2. Locate the Develop Presets folder. In Lightroom, go to Edit > Preferences > Presets tab and select “Show
Lightroom Presets Folder” > Lightroom > Develop Presets.
3. Drag the Unzipped Lr Preset folder into the Develop Preset folder. Keep them in their individual folders so
they remain organized.
4. Restart Lightroom.
PS ACR INSTALLATION
1. Unzip the preset files. 2. Open up Finder in Mac / Explorer in Windows, and locate the following path:
{Insert your own system user name where you see “UserName” below. Macintosh: /Users/UserName/
Library/Application Support/Adobe/CameraRawFolder/Settings Windows: C:\Documents and Settings\
UserName\Application Data\Adobe\CameraRaw\Settings Windows 7: C:\Users\UserName\AppData\
Roaming\Adobe\CameraRaw\Settings -Please note, if you don’t see the settings location, then you need
to turn on the Show Hidden Files option. 3. Copy the .xmp presets into the Settings folder. 4. The presets
will now appear in the ACR preset tab.
PLEASE NOTE: If you are using mac and cannot locate the Settings folder, try this: Go to finder and select ©2017 RED LEAF STUDIOS INC.
Go > Go to Folder from the menu.. then copy and past this in the box: ~/Library/Application Support/Adobe/
