    Come along and June Bevan Australasian U17 Championships
    support our players
    participating in the On 15th April, Badminton Southland alongside 2018 June Bevan Champions
    Southland Open, Mainland Badminton held the June Bevan Australasian
    Southland Masters &
    U17 championships at the ILT Stadium Southland. We
    Vets on the 18 - 19 May.
    had 10 teams compete from Sunday to Wednesday and
    then held the Individual’s tournament from Thursday to
    Southland U15 Sunday. This tournament was a great success and a
    Saturday 26th May huge thank you to Jo Smith for organising te event with
    the assistance of John Milne. It was great to see our
    local players participating in this event as well as
    South Island /
    Southland U19 26th
    umpiring.
    May. Thank you to Jo, Anya & Paige Raines, Julie Loan and New South Wales Thunder
    Danae Raivaru for offering your time to assist with the
    tournament. The closing dinner was held at Big Willy Rustlers with

    It was fantastic that June Bevan was able to attend the

    Competition Senior & U19, Monday & Thursday 7.00pm - 8.30pm,

    U15 & U17, Monday & Thursday 5.30pm - 7.00pm


    Our Interclub starts on Tuesday 15th May and this year

    we are also introducing an IPL singles competition that U13, Monday & Wednesday 4.30pm - 5.30pm
    shoes and
    equipment for will start on Tuesday as well. The singles competition
    Shuttle Time, Wednesday 3.30pm - 4.30pm.

    Our Coaches are John Brown for senior, U19, U17 &
    Racket stringing is The competition will run until July 10th and entries close
    U15.

    contact I would like to welcome Crystal Chen as our Community
    John Brown The IPL singles will be one match per night from
    Development Officer who will be delivering Shuttle Time
    6pm -7pm and will be split into 2 divisions based on
    Ph: 027 703 5737. to the schools and SIT. She will also be going out to the
    ability, not a men’s and woman’s competition. The cost
    community to encourage participation to join the sport,
    for this is $40pp. Entries close on Friday 11th May.
