I. OBJECTIVE

At the end of the lesson students should be able to:

and Philippe John Fresnillo Sipacio

C. Teaching Materials: Power Point Presentation, Projector, Texts

III. PROCEDURE

A. Activity

The teacher will ask the students to:

1. Within five minutes, write the common or familiar sayings with


their author.

2. Exchange with their classmates work. Read their classmate’s


work and compare.

3. After reading each work, return to the owner then evaluate if


their answers are correct.
B. Analysis

Citation is an intellectual reference to a published or unpublished


source by quoting of a book, author or an existing publication in support of a
fact.

C. Abstraction

The teacher will discuss the purpose for Citing Sources and its style
guides

It is important not only to get information from the credible sources but

also to properly document all borrowed ideas, information, concepts,

arguments, or information and attribute them to their authors or creators. This

is done by citing sources. This procedure which is integral part of the

academic and professional writing.

D. Application

The teacher will present the purpose of citing sources, forms of citation

and various style guides. Students will determine the purpose of citations;

identify its forms and various style guides.

IV. Evaluation

Let the students identify the forms of citation and its style guide of the
of the following texts:
