Caribquib NHS: Receipient of Multi-purpose Hall

“Peace begins with a smile.” ― Mother Teresa

If peace begins with a smile, development definitely follows. The smile of teachers and
students of Caribquib National High School are indeed uniquely captivating and infectious because
of the support and love they get from philanthropic personalities. One reason of their smile is the
newly constructed multi-purpose hall which was granted by the local government unit of Banna,
through the initiative of the multi-awarded Mayor Carlito A. Abadilla II. Worth 1.8 million pesos,
with its size 15.5m x 25m the Multi-Purpose Hall Building serves various uses for school
gatherings such as religious gatherings, meetings, programs, and other school undertakings.

Indeed, the Mayor’s educational and social programs are meant to uplift the quality of
public-school education. During the founding anniversary of the school, he said he continues his
initiatives to support the many needs of the town’s public-school students and teachers, mainly
Caribquib National High School, ranging from higher academic standards, classrooms and
equipment needs and security safeguards. Also, his office endeavors to improve the health and
nutrition of their constituents, as well as promote illegal-drugs prevention.

The teachers and students of the said school thanked the Mayor and his constituents for
their act of generosity. The multi-purpose hall which was a longtime dream of the school has now
become a reality. For his part, Abadilla wants nothing in return from the students but for them to
have good education and study well so in return when they themselves become successful in life,
they can also give back to the community, and a good education is the best gift anyone can give
or receive.

The Mayor also supports physical activity which is vital to the holistic development of
young people, fostering their physical, social and emotional health. Thus, he recognizes the need
to develop the youth and sports, so recently he announced that he will grant the school some sports
equipment which can be used by students. He truthfully believes that learning is not confined in
the classroom, it is limitless.

When it rains, it pours. No wonder, the CarNHS staff and students keep on smiling.
