The explosive cladding technology exploits the phenomenon

of explosion in a creative way. Explosive metal cladding is
of great technological importance for the manufacture of advanced
metal composites. It complements the conventional methods
of cladding elements production, such as overlay welding or rolling.
The special feature of this technology is that, it allows to connect metals and
its alloys that are impossible to join by other, industrial methods.

1. Explosive cladding allows to manufacture of bimetallic and multilayer metal composites
in the widest range of metals and its alloys and in the widest range of layers thicknesses.
2. Composite materials retain their mechanical, technological, corrosive and current
properties; by joining them into the composite they obtain new, expected structural
and functional features.
3. In a specific cases, result of the use of cladded materials is a reduction
in the consumption of expensive metals and their alloys.
4. Explosive cladding technology enables the production of cladded materials in a variety,
unlimited quantities, from very small to large batches of products, with varying unit sizes.
