RESOLUTION NO.43-S-2018
A RESOLUTION ADOPTING RESOLUTION NO. 21-S-2017, THE LOCCAL

DISASTER RISK REDUCTION AND MANAGEMENT PLAN 2017-2019 OF THE CITY
DASMARIÑAS
WHEREAS, disaster and emergencies are fundamental reflections of life in which, they
are consequences of the way the society structures themselves, economically and socially, the
way societies and states interact, and the way relationships between the the decision makes are
sustained;
WHEREAS, annually all over the world, people are extreme climate change and change
nad the Philippines being situated in the Pacific Ring of Fire is of no exemptions; Earthquake,
typhoons and floods affects ten of thousands of lives in the country.
WHEREAS, as provided by the Republic Act No.10121 OR THE Philippine Disaster

Risk Reduction and Management Act of 2010, every Local Government Unit (LGU) is tasked to
create a Local Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Plan (LDRRMP) which cover the four
aspects of Disaster Risk Reduction and management, namely (1) disaster preparedness, (2)
disaster response 93) disaster prevention and mitigation and (4) rehabilitation and recovery.
WHEREAS , the BDRRM Plan outlines the activities aimed at strengthening the
capacity of Dasmariñas to build disaster silence;
WHEREAS , the Sangguniang Barangay of San Agustin 1, after careful study and
deliberation on the plan presented , deemed it appropriate to adopting Resolution 21-S-2017 the
Local Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Plan 2017-2019 of City of Dasmariñas.
NOW THEREFORE, on tmotion of Sangguniang Barangay Member Glenn Anadilla,

duly made and seconded by all Sangguniang Barangay Member present, be it---------
RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, to adopting the Local Disaster Risk

Reduction and Management Plan 2017-2019 of City of Dasmariñas, Cavite
