• Created and implemented multimodal mathematics, ELA, science and social studies units that aligned with the fourth-grade
framework, utilizing school curriculum and technological resources.
• Collaborated with the permanent teacher and the special education teacher on ways to best support students with specific
learning needs. Accommodated these needs by individualizing my instruction and working one-on-one with students.
• Participated in staff trainings including: RTI, DDI as well as Houghton Mifflin Harcourt Dimensions science curriculum and
online platform.
• Took the lead as the primary teacher of the classroom for one week. In this time, I maintained the daily routine, taught
math, science and ELA, worked in partnership with the special education teacher and implemented engaging and
interactive learning experiences for the students.
Student Internship September 2018-November 2018

• Created and implemented three, multimodal science lessons utilizing Next Generation ELA and Science Learning Standards.
• Took lead in the classroom for a week when the host teacher was out for a family emergency. Informed substitute teachers
of the daily routine and schedule. Led morning meetings, taught mathematics and ELA lessons and maintained the daily
routine.
