Particular attention has to be taken that all relevant procedures/ steps described in the Inspection and
test plan have been considered / settled.
Due to the fact that main components and instruments as:

will be delivered pretested and with adequate certification, further testing of this equipment
will not be required during FAT.

inspecting the correct direction of rotation of the

up and the two water solenoid valves:
04090-XY-527 & 04090-XY-528.
Centrifuge is ready for operation when a complete
filling displacement cycle has been finished
Start the separating program by selecting process
start on the Control Panel PLC A.
The separating program is started; check visually

if 3-way valve : 04090-XV-615
for centrifuge feed has been opened.
Check the flow at Variable Area Flowmeter:
04090-FG-614;
Adjust the flow rate by throttling the globe valve :
090-617 at centrifuge inlet to 4.000 l/h.

Adjust the discharge pressure of clean DO outlet
to 3.0 barg by throttling valve : 090-626;

adjust set point, reset the alarm, and re-start
the separating program.

9. TANK & SLUDGE PUMP OPERATION

For checking sludge tank high high alarm
initiate contact by initiating level switch
04090-LS-690 and check visually, if the
separating program is interrupted and an
alarm is initiated. Reset the alarm, and re-
start the separating program.
For checking sludge pump operation

(04090-P-03) trigger the contacts of level
switches (04090-LS-691 and 04090-LS-
692) at the device and check visually if the
sludge pump is started at LSH and stopped
when the tank level falls under LSL.
Alternative test method:
+ the contacts in the PLC logic may be
activated to trigger the pump.
+ fill up the tank and check the systems
reaction at levels LSL/LSH/LSHH
