Evidence: My motivators

Studies of successful individuals have found that there are a few motivators that
guide their career and job choices, and make working an enjoyable and successful
experience for them. Below you will find a list with the motivators that are most
commonly mentioned by high-achieving people. For this evidence you have to
organize them in order of importance from 1 (the most important) to 10 (the least
important) and write a composition expressing how they have been part of your
professional development. Recycle the grammar and vocabulary you have learned
in this learning activity. (Example: I feel variety is the most important factor in my
motivation. I don’t like doing repetitive things. In my current job I have learned how
to use Photoshop and how to market different products online. I am becoming very
good at it and now I am able to teach others.)

Composition
The challenge has been and continues to be my main motivation to overcome
obstacles. When something poses a challenge to me, I strive more and more to
achieve it.

Interest has been my engine to put enthusiasm into the things I do. When a project
captures my interest, I feel so passionate that I leave everything else in the
background and put my passion and creativity into action.

Competition motivates me not to be with the knowledge and skills that I have. It
inspires me to constantly improve to prevent competition from beating me.

Variety is a good incentive not to fall into monotony. If my activities become

competitive, my interest fades away and I no longer pay attention.
The recognition of people is a reward that makes me think that all the effort I
devoted to my activities was not in vain. Feeling that people value my work is a
great incentive. Working hard and seeing the results in your lifestyle is also a good
motivator. I've always aspired to change my lifestyle.

I don't like living the same way I did a few years ago. Relationships allow me to
befriend people who share my own interests and concerns. I like to exchange ideas
and learn from my social circle. It is interesting to listen to people when they are
paid attention.

Security has allowed me to develop easily and convey my ideas without fear.
Thanks to security, I have become more daring to impose and respect the point of
view in interactions with my colleagues. Workers.

Independence has not been very important in my academic and work education. I
think that independence is in some way synonymous with loneliness. I like to do
things on a team.

Money has never been my motivation, even if I have had financial difficulties. It is
obvious that with money we can aspire to live a better life, but I am not satisfied
being rich. It seems absurd and insulting to accumulate material wealth.
