Relocation Policy For Altran Technologies India PVT LTD
1. Objective
This policy is aimed at defining entitlements of employees who are required to relocate within India.
1.2 To utilize the employees services optimally by placing him / her where his / her services are best utilized

2. Eligibility
The policy is applicable to all the existing employees of the company who are required to relocate from one Altran Technologies
office to another Altran Technologies office within India.
3. Applicability
4.1 At the time of relocation, the person handing over shall ensure proper documentation and resolution. The person handing
over shall ensure that all documents, files, literature and Company property is handed over to the incumbent. In the event the
incumbent is not available, he/she should hand over the same to senior most designated employee or as advised by the
Department in-charge. Functional head or MD as the case may be. The incumbent is supposed to acknowledge the receipt of
these documents. Copy of handing over certificate should be sent to HR department.
4.2 After relocation orders have been sent and after the person has been relieved from his duties and if the relocation is from
one city to another necessitating travel and change / shifting from one residence to another with households effects, a minimum
period of 3 working days and maximum of 5 transit leave shall be allowed for such relocations.
4.3 If the relocation is within the city limits or from one company to another and within the same city, no joining time shall be
permissible. In such relocations the employee shall report to the new place of posting on the next working day.
4.4 Due to exigencies of work the management or the transferring authority shall have the right to reduce the joining time and
may ask the concerned employee to join the place of posting at the earliest through the shortest possible route.
4.5 In case the employee fails to report by due date, he will be treated as absent and action as per rules will be taken.
5.1 All relocations have to be routed through immediate supervisor. Consent of Managing Director is a must for final approval
5.2 The relocation order duly signed by the Managing Director shall be sent to all concerned including HR.
5.3 In cases where the relocation is from one Group Company to other, HR Department shall issue such relocation orders.

Transportation Expenses include Freight, Packaging/Un-packaging, Insurance, Local conveyance (from airport to destination)
& applicable Taxes
Vehicle Transfer & Re-Registration cost will be reimbursed on actual subject to one vehicle only.
Registration cost of vehicle is approximately 13.2% of the value of the vehicle if it is older than one year or else it 13.2% +
2% extra as entry tax for new vehicle.
* Up to 3 days, company will bear the expense. For another 2 days, 50% employee & 50% employer will bear
** The payment of costs will not exceed the quotation for the allowable volume. If the consignment is larger than the allowable
limit the employee will be responsible for the cost of the increased volume.
7. Definition
The term “family” with reference to this policy means self, spouse and up to max of two dependent kids.
8. Accommodation
Where relocation assistance includes initial accommodation on arrival, the company will pay 100% of accommodation costs for
three days and an optional 50% of accommodation for another two days after which company will bear no charges.

10.1 In case the employee resigns within a period of one year from the date of Relocation, the entire amount of Relocation
expenses reimbursed/paid to him/ her will be recovered as part of the final settlement. Repayment will not be required if the
member of staff is dismissed through reason of compulsory redundancy or ill health.
Any exception to the above shall be reviewed on a case-to-case basis and will have to be sanctioned by the HR Head.
