Avoid Milk and Dairy Products
Ever since I was a kid, I drank cow’s milk. It was almost like a religious ritual.
Every day, I’d bring it to school in a plastic thermos bottle. The thermos bottle
had the picture of “Superman” on it. The subliminal message was simple: If I wanted
to be as strong as Superman, I should drink milk.
Mom brainwashed me, saying that milk was so essential to my health, it
was almost a crime if I didn’t drink it.
I can’t blame her. If you look at the USDA Food Pyramid (remember
that picture from your grade school science textbook?), it recommends that
we drink one to three glasses of milk.
Problem: People who created that Food Pyramid were connected
with the milk industry.
Recent medical studies are now tearing that theory apart.
Research is now saying that cow’s milk is bad for you.

and Other Dairy Products

Like you, I love ice cream.


And I adore, worship, and pay homage to cheese.
I can live on Cheese Pizza every day.
Worse, put those two loves together and you get cheese ice cream. No wonder I love cheese ice cream.
But I’m going to show you why you should give up milk and all dairy products. Yes, they’re causing havoc
in your body.
Here are four big reasons why you should give them up.

1. Milk May Weaken Your Bones

I know. It sounds absurd. But it’s true. We’ve been led to believe that milk strengthens your bones, right?
Wrong. Milk contains animal protein. When there’s excess animal protein in your blood, your bones leach
calcium to normalize your Ph balance, thus making your bones weaker.
Milk doesn’t protect you from fractures. It may make you more susceptible to them.

Scientists have studied countries that don’t drink cow’s milk—like Africa and Asia. Surprise: They have
the lowest levels of Osteoporosis.
Only Western countries drink lots of milk. And what part of the world has widespread Osteoporosis? You
guessed it—western countries only. (Right now, 30 million women in the west have it. But it’s very rare in the
east.)
Do you want to avoid Osteoporosis? Avoid animal protein. Stop drinking milk and all dairy products. Give
up meat. And start eating green leafy vegetables as your source for calcium.

2. Milk May Raise Cancer Risk

Milk contains hormones—and our bodies can’t break down these hormones.
These hormones create havoc in our own very delicate hormonal system.
Cows are injected with hormones to increase their milk production. I’ve written
about this before, but let me say it again: A cow, by its natural self, produces 500
gallons of milk a year. Today, “super cows” produces 20,000 to 30,000 gallons of milk
a year. That’s because of the chemicals that they inject into these animals. (Super cows
don’t move around anymore. They’re held by a steel frame. And they’ve got tubes
connected to their udders 12 hours a day.) These chemicals are what we ingest when
we drink milk or eat milk products.
Milk may be partially causing the following diseases…

Breast Cancer

When well-respected scientist Jane Plant was struck with breast cancer, she
began to research.She discovered that in China, only 1 in 10,000 women had breast
cancer. But in UK, the figure is 1 in 12! (This figure blows my mind.) How is that
possible?
It wasn’t genetics. Because when the Chinese migrate to the UK, and start
eating the way the British ate, their breast cancer statistics shoot up.
Jane Plant lived in China and she discovered that rural (non-westernized)
Chinese didn’t drink milk or eat cheese or ice cream. They found it strange that she
ate dairy food.
Here’s the happy ending to this story. Jane was taking chemotherapy but it wasn’t helping—her cancer
continued to get worse. But when she discovered the link between milk and cancer, she gave up all dairy food.
Today, she is cancer free. And she has written books about her experience. (Google it.)

Prostrate Cancer

Some studies say that milk may raise men’s risk of prostrate cancer by 30 to 50 percent.
I’m a guy turning 45 this year. My father had the beginnings of prostate cancer when he was 70 years old.
Believe me, I’ll do anything to protect myself from this disease.

Leukemia

Kitty Campion, author of many health books, believes milk is connected to leukemia. Why? She says that

20 percent of US milk-producing cows are affected by leukemia viruses. And the highest incidence of leukemia
in America happens to children ages three to 13—who consume the most milk—and dairy farmers.

3. Milk May Be the Cause of Many Allergies

Seventy percent of earth’s population has lactose intolerance.


That means most of us can’t stomach milk. By age two to five, humans naturally stop producing “lactase”—
the enzyme needed to digest lactose—the sugar in milk.
Our bodies were just not made by God to drink milk. (By the way, do you know that cows don’t drink
their own milk? Only baby calves do. Very quickly, young cows stop drinking their mother’s milk and start eating
grass. So what are we doing drinking cows’ milk?)
I believe this improper digestion of milk is the cause of all sorts of allergies: sinus problems, frequent
colds, nasal drip, eczema (skin allergies), asthma, irritable bowel movement, and chronic constipation.

4. Milk May Cause Other Diseases

Milk is highly acidic. And mucous forming.


As I mentioned before, germs and cancer love the acidic environment. And disease is almost impossible
when your body is in alkaline territory, because germs can’t live in an alkaline environment.

Milk Products Is Made of…Uh, Milk

Many years ago, I gave up drinking cow’s milk.


But I couldn’t give up ice cream!
Result? I still had many allergies.
Fact: It takes 10 pounds of milk to make one pound of cheese. It takes 12
pounds of milk to make one pound of ice cream. And it takes 20 pounds of milk
to make one pound of butter.
Today, I avoid dairy products.
Yes, once in awhile, I still munch on a single slice of cheese pizza (I used
to eat five slices!). Once in awhile, I have tiny dollop of ice cream (I used to
consume three big scoops).
But I have now been exploring alternatives…

Delicious Alternatives

There’s an ice cream from Bohol Bee Farm that isn’t made of cow’s milk but with coconut milk. And
instead of sugar, they add honey. It’s very delicious. (Too bad it’s in Bohol only!)
My wife and I are in the process of researching how it’s done, so we can make ice cream in our home.
By the way, it was difficult to convince the kids not to drink fresh cow’s milk. Because they were avid
fans. They drank it like it was water.

But through persistence, we finally switched to soya milk. We bought the best ones at health stores. (Note:
You can make your own soya milk.) We had to get the chocolate-flavored soya milk because it was more delicious
for the kids.
There are also cheese substitutes that my wife and I are exploring—vegan cheese, soy cheese, etc. The
experimentation continues! I’ll update you.
But my spaghetti (using whole wheat pasta) no longer contains cheese, as my favorite is alio olio, which
consists only of olive oil, garlic, and chili oil. Simple but yummy.

Just Try It Out for Three Months

I know this is a big change—giving up milk, ice cream, etc.


But I know you’ll get used to it—and love it.
You can also look at this as a huge experiment. Just try it out for three months:Go totally dairy-free. And
after three months, feel the difference. If you feel better, you know what to do.
Make it a permanent lifestyle.
