Once upon a time, in a land far away,

A little girl fell in a hole one day
Ignorant Alice then lives her life unaware,
Thinking all in the Queen's court is fair
In truth, there was little she could understand

But it's okay! She's in Wonderland!

And wander she did,
Without thought!
Because this this this this isn't ponder-land!
Dormice dance and rabbits fret

Bout trivial troubles of little threat
Caterpillars talk, cats grin in delight
There was magic in this land without any fright

But what of the deaths at the hands of the queen?
EVERYONE:
Hush! Hush! We do not know what you mean!
Look! Little Alice is shaking!
Shaking in fear!

Hush little Alice, let these things be
You didn't hear a word of controversy
EVERYONE
The ones with privilege loudly chant
To drown out the noise outside Wonderland
And Alice cowers, cowers, cowers in fear

I don’t understand what’s happening here!

Outside of Alice’s bubble of relief,
The so-called monsters cried out in grief
With every screech becoming clear
Words that Alice refused to hear

Amongst the crowd, there ran
A clearly giddy eccentric man
Wearing a top hat, he struts down the aisle

For as far as I know, there’s barely a train
Of thought in the thing that you call a brain

Out of Wonderland and here you can see
Our madness is not unstable of mind
But rage and anger for the fate of mankind

While we grovel in nooks, unseen by their eyes

So, what hope do we have if we're in your care?
Instead we beat against the cage, clang metal to show our rage
