    I. Objectives
    At the end of the lesson, the students should be able to:
    a. Know the missing terms in sequence of number
    b. Count numbers using skip counting
    c. Develop a positive attitude towards learning mathematics.

    Reference: K to 12 Grade 4 Curriculum Guide, Learning Materials: Math Grade 4 pages 166 to 168
    Materials: Laptop, Pictures, Visual Aids and Marker

    3. Motivation
    Let us skip count by 2s from 4s to 20. I will call
    one student to start then the student who started Yes Ma’am
    will call another student to continue and so on 2,4,6,8,10,12,14,16,18 and 20
    until you reach 20. You should listen and stay 3,6,9,12,15,18,21,24,27 and 30
    alert to be able to give the next answer. 4,8,12,16,20,24,28,32,36 and 40
    Did you understand? 5,10,15,20,25,30,35,40,45 and 50
    Skip counting by 2.
    How about skip counting by 3?
    Skip counting by 4?

    Skip Counting and Sequence of Numbers

    What is Skip Counting? Skip counting is simply counting while


    skipping a number or numbers in between. In
    order to skip count however, the same count
    needs to be made every time.

    How about Number Sequence? sequence is a list of numbers that are linked by
    a rule.

    For example:

    The difference between each number is 6. So


    the rule for this sequence is to add 6 each time.

    9,15,21,27 (9 +6 = 15+6 = 21+6 = 27)
