ART!

May 4th-8th
This week in art it is ocean week! We will be exploring the depths of the Ocean in
our art! Pick an activity or two or three and have fun! If you want to show me
your finished product you can submit on Seesaw, Email me at
[email protected] , or on Twitter @MHartroom (be on the lookout
for my artwork on here too)

3rd, 4th, and 5th grade art

1. Follow along on my video here and create a surprise sea creature!
https://youtu.be/GQiYh4BjaqA

2. Draw a fantastical submarine that is exploring the depths of the ocean

(maybe it even discovered a new species of sea creature that you can
draw).
3. Draw yourself as a scuba diver (another term for this is?......self-portrait!).
Create a self-portrait as a scuba diver, it can be just your face with the mask
and snorkel or breather in, or it can be whole body of you swimming
through the ocean! Get creative!

OCEAN WEEK! Pick an activity or three to create! If you want to
show me your finished product you can submit on Seesaw, Email me at
[email protected] , or on Twitter @MHartroom (be on the
lookout for my artwork popping up here next week!)

1. Follow along with my video for how to create a surprise fish!

2. Watch our friends over on Art for Kids Hub on how to draw a swimmer
https://safeshare.tv/x/ss5ea97f1291088

3. Draw an Ocean scape (remember that anytime we add scape after a word it
means you are drawing that word (ex. Landscape is drawing land, and
cityscape is drawing a city)). So an Ocean scape is drawing a what?…..right
an Ocean! Make sure you include at least 5 different ocean animals and 1
non-living thing (boat, sunken ship, treasure chest, or anything else you can
think of).
