1. I would like to have more background knowledge regarding “Ammonia NH3”, where can I get
this from.
We have access to the standards that were referenced in order to produce the training
standard for this course and much other data that has been reviewed for applicability to our
operations.
2. I am about to deliver this training package or have been doing so for a while but would like
some assistance. Can you help?
Yes. Contact us any time. We are available to assist you in delivering this course. Whether it
is information on Ammonia, assistance with you training technique or auditing your courses
to provide you with some constructive feedback this is no problem.
3. I have some information which I think would be beneficial to include in the training standard.
How can I do this?
No worries. Send the information to the “Delphi Department” and the training team will review
it. If it is deemed to be applicable to the presentation whole then it may be incorporated in
future reviews of the training standard. If it is applicable to your site(s) only then it is unlikely
that we will amend the standard (unless it is something that may be adopted unit wide in the
future).
4. I have noticed a mistake in the material or the training standard. What should I do?
Please inform us immediately so we can make the necessary changes. Your input is vital.
5. I would like to change some of the information in the presentation. Is this permitted?
Yes. This is why you have been presented with an editable version of the ppt. presentation
and manual. It is actually important that this is tailored to your particular needs. The more
relevant it is the more beneficial the training will be. So you can change photographs as you
like. Maybe you have equipment in use that is not covered by our presentation so this of
course can be added. However remember that this presentation was created to suit the
training standard which provides the MINIMUM standard for training so do not remove
sections. All core training elements and performance criteria in the standard must be
addressed during the course. Please do not alter the template. This is the standard template
issued by corporate. And please let us know what changes you intend to make so we can
monitor the progress and development of this training package in your area.
6. The standard states that this training is 2 hours in duration. But 2 hours is not possible. How
can I comply with the standard?
No problem. We understand that this is not always possible. Maybe you can complete the
course in less or more hours, but it is important to cover all the section mentioned in the
standard presentation, and ensure that it is given sufficient time to the participants to
assimilate the most important concepts of the course.
7. The power point slides do not explain everything. Why not?
The power point slides are provided as a prompt for the instructor and to help the delegates
relate to what you are discussing. The information needs to come from you the instructor.
This is why it is vital that you read and understand this manual and ensure that you have
sufficient underpinning knowledge before attempting to deliver this course. You should never
simply be reading from the slides. It is essential that you refer to the user manual for the
equipment you have in service to ensure that you fully understand the correct use and
limitations.
