The SHE Manager is responsible for managing, planning and implementing the company’s Safety, Health and

The SHE Manager’s core function is to manage the overall Safety, Health and Environment related activities of MIESCOR
Group be it for all employees, projects, engineering, procurement, construction, implementation, commissioning, hook up,
and project warranty. He assists the Project Management in planning for the Safety, Health & Environmental aspects of
the project. He reviews the SHE aspects of the contract scope of work, specifications and project execution plan. He is
also responsible for the monitoring and implementation of all projects SHE plans as provided in the project scope
submittals. He ensures that all projects are compliant to OSHS and Environmental law requirement on the provision of
Safety Officers, OH Doctors, OH nurses and Environmental officers. Directs the resources and activities of the company
to support the SHE programs by providing advice and guidance to the Senior Management Team. Continually maintain
an appropriate level of awareness, knowledge and preparedness across the company to create a culture that prioritizes
effective SHE and balances overall associated expenses. Develop internal SHE policies and practices to ensure they are
current and appropriate; conduct hazard and risk assessments and update/upgrade existing, or develop new
recommendations from these assessments. Serve as the company’s expert within the field of SHE when called upon to
address regulatory agency compliance issues, third party SHE & liability consultants and subcontractor representatives.
Responsible for the staffing and directing the SHE department, including management of all offices and project
construction SHE professionals and staff. Responsible for the development of a SHE annual budget recommendation.
Implementation and monitoring. Provide regular reports (KPMs, SHE Audit Findings etc), as well as the offices and
construction SHE-related results and updates to the Senior Management. Assist offices and construction site project teams
in investigation of all project incidents (LTA, Recordable Incidents, Near Miss and First Aid) and ensure proper records are
completed and submitted. Oversight of company’s SHE incentive programs and periodically reviews them to ensure the
accomplishments of the desired results. Make necessary changes to the program to maximize effect. Stay abreast of
current and emerging technical and professional aspects of this position. Participate / attend construction industry related
conferences when requested to do so.

Duties and Responsibilities:
