    Kyoto Protocol is known as international treaty that outlines the UN Framework


    convention on climate change in which included parties committed in minimising
    greenhouse emissions. Australia is attempting to reduce in increasing in net GHG
    emission.

    Development and Climate.
    Asia-pacific partnership on Clean Development and Climate also known for APP is
    a voluntary in international level which is committed on accelerating the
    development and execution of clean energy technologies which doesn’t include
    enforcement mechanism.

    3. Outline the purpose and scope of the Environment Protection and Biodiversity
    Conservation Act 1999 (EPBC Act).
    Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act 1999 (EPBC Act) is a
    procedures which protect the environment within Australia that contains biodiversity
    along with natural and culturally significant areas. It aims to protect the endangered
    species and communities. Since its establishment it has able to protect various of such
    species and cultural habitants.

    Conservation (EPBC) Act Regulations.
    The Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation (EPBC) Act Regulations
    look after or protect and promote national and international significant flora, fauna,
    ecological communities and various national and world heritage places. It has been
    able to protect the Australia’s biodiversity and protect the environment.

    National Greenhouse and Energy Reporting Scheme is considered to be sole national
    framework that disseminate firms information and data regarding greenhouse emission,
    production and generation of energy, utilisation of energy and so on. It works to inform
    government policy, Australian public and assist commonwealth and state governments.

    important measure to minimise the incidence and influence of litter so keeping
    huge potential.

    Australian Ecolabel Program voluntary code of practice is considered as well known LCA based
    eco-labelling program which is based on international standard ISO 14024 that needs
    environments labelling specifications. Since it looks for the quality, environment, social criteria
    it has huge significance.

    8. Identify one internal information source and one external information source that can
    be used to plan and develop a company’s sustainability policy. For each source, explain
    how this source can be used to develop the sustainability policy.
    Internal source can be staffs or worker of company and external source can be suppliers.
    Staff helps to make policy on how they use resources and stock of the resources so
    company make procedures accordingly. Meanwhile, suppliers can be useful to develop
    the sustainability policy by analysing energy usage and plan on transportation and
    energy usage.
