Evidence: Job interview

Imagine you are applying for a new job. Below you will find some common job
interview questions. For this evidence, you have to record yourself while you
answer them. Dress up. Look professional. Pay attention to your body language.
Show you really want to get that job. Remember to use the grammar structures
and vocabulary you have practiced within this learning activity.

1. If you could start your career over again, what would you do differently?

If I could start my career again, I would try to find greater solidity in my


employer, I have tried to accompany new projects that unfortunately have
failed.

2. During your performance reviews, what criticism do you hear the most?

A bit of a mess in my workplace and having to work non-working hours.

3. Tell me about your last position?


It was wonderful to be able to help people in need through a mayor's
office and its projects.

4. What is your work philosophy?

Achieve the proposed goals and tasks, putting my knowledge and


experience at your service.

5. How have you changed professionally speaking in the last two years?

I take on more concrete projects and take care of interpersonal


relationships.

6. Tell me about the best manager you have ever had.

In my first job, my boss, more than a coach, was a great leader who
motivated his employees.

7. What were the most memorable accomplishments in your last position?

My greatest achievement was identifying the need for the position to


facilitate processes within the mayor's office.

8. Why do you want to leave your current job?

I have contributed my best in my current position, but in this company I


can give all my experience to focus on the search for results.

9. In your previous position, how much time did you spend learning how to do
things better?

Every time I could I used to do research that would improve my


performance.

10. If you’re very happy with your current job, why do you want to leave?
I am not looking to leave my company, but I feel that in this I can continue
to grow humanly and professionally.
