1. Recall some rules you have to follow in school and community. What rules do
you find constricting? Explain why people have to follow rules.
Rules holds a very important rule in our society that the people have to follow it.
It helps people in various ways. Rules are required to enforce regulations in society that
processes, beginning with small things such as placing garbage in trash bins and up to
the bigger picture such as the operations of the entire country. The rules ensure the
controlled flow of all processes used in the continuous stability of the nation. Individuals
often need rules and laws in order to be able to live and interact with each other. How
could you even picture a match without rules it sure is going to be a mess, of course. We
have to follow their rules even when playing a game, or it would be unfair. All in our life,
too, should be limited by law, otherwise this will become a mess and unjust. If there are
no rules, everyone is free to do anything they want and most people are likely to act
selfishly. We need rules to help us to be able to get together in a long period of time and
show respect for each other. In instance, at schools, if a student violates the rule
regarding talking in class, the teacher may not be able to accomplish his goal and certain
other learners will not be able to focus. Drivers who do not comply with road rules can
lead to dangerous situations such as serious injuries and accidents. All of the rules and
regulations that we have encountered and haven’t encountered yet have the very same
objective. They are use to structure the connections between the individuals and
communities to make it abundantly clear what is right and what is wrong and what
arises whenever anyone violated the rules. They are designed to ensure fairness,
security and respect for human rights of others. Another justification why we avoid
violating the rules is to try to prevent punishment and penalties but the greatest
Rules are laid down for the security and well-being of the students in the school
they are attending. Another is to foster good behavior among students and to ensure a
positive reputation of the school. Parents tend to make their children to attend in the
school not only to learn academic values but also the moral values. The introduction of
school rules will allow students to shape their character and the standards expected
from them by the other people. I remember the five basic rules in school that covers
almost all parts of behavior that is relevant to the students. First is that to be just. It is
to treat everyone with respect which means that the students should use the
appropriate manners at all situations in order to avoid fighting. Controlling the temper
in school and obey what the adults told you helps in your daily situations at the school.
The second one is to politely follow the recommendations and instructions of all adults
to ensure your safety and well-being at school for they know what is good and what is
best for you. And when talking to the adults especially the elders, be respectful. Use po
and opo when talking to them for it serves as a respectful gesture. Third is keep your
hands off to what you don’t own. Never touch anyone’s property without asking a
consent from them for it is stealing. It also includes not destroying the things that others
own. Fourth, all equipment and facilities must be used correctly which means in a safe
and responsible manner. You don’t own the things in school and it is hard to earn it so
be wise in using it. For example, in computer laboratory, no eating and drinking there
for it can destroy the computers accidentally or not. Damaging or the destruction of any
school property is not only a small offense so you will be expected to pay for any
replacements or repairs. Also, when walking at the corridor, don’t be too noisy for there
is classes or meetings inside some of the rooms there and do not throw your garbage
everywhere and instead put it in trash bins so you an also help the janitors in cleaning
the surroundings. Lastly is to stay put in the areas that is assigned. Do not roam around
if the teachers do not tell you to do so to be able to avoid accidents. Once you arrived at
school, you can’t go out whenever you like except for emergencies that you have to be
sent home but if not, you are only required to go out after dismissal. Libraries and
chapel are not for noisiness and playing. It is essential to understand and follow
specified basic rules in my community. I can recall some of the basic rules in my
community. We're using it to maintain order in our community. If there had been no
rules, then there will be no direction in our world. People would be doing what they
want to do without considering the consequences. The first is that smoking and drinking
is not allowed in respected areas such as school, church, and so much more. It's one of
the most important rules in the community. It's appropriate for me to stop smoking and
drinking because it's just an unhealthful huge waste of money and time and for reasons
that many accidents and illegal incidents arises due to drinking. There is a huge case of
rape within the country because of too much in take of alcohols that makes a person do
illegal activities. People die of cancer because of such a routine, and the people around
them could also get seriously ill as well. Throughout the lengthy period, the non-
smoking law would make the members of the community healthier, safer, and happier.
Smoking can cause negative impact on the environment through pollution, and it does
not appeal to the people around you. By having this law, the people in the community
cruelty. Animals have been brought on this planet to be friends not to be killed or
harassed by the humans. Animals like cows, chickens, and pigs are necessary for food,
but we should put limitations to it. We don't have to keep slaughtering animals just for
fun, but just for minimal food consumption. Too much is incorrect. Third is respecting
each other’s privacy. When an individual has a rational urge to keep information private,
it is insensitive to neglect the desires of that person without some kind of reasonable
justification to do anything.
they would be those imposed by the government. Rules and regulations imposed by the
government such as the payment of annual property taxes that you own is totally
appalling. Think about it for the second time, you own the property that you have
earned through hard work but if you don't pay the taxes each year, the government is
going to take it by force and sell it which looks more as renting the property rather than
owning your property. The amount of paperwork you need to get in order to set up a
business is unimaginable, mayor's permit, barangay permit, health and sanitation office,
fire department permit, police clearance to own an asset will be totally useless. And
these are simply put in order to raise money so that politicians could pocket it. The rules
which sometimes limit me are some of the rules within our home because, as an adult, I
still have rules that I must abide which my parents made. I know it's because of my
safety, but I guess I should start thinking about changes that I will have to do so for my
future. One of it is that I have to follow the rule that I should be at home after class, but
sometimes I have to do my activities and buy something that I really needed, but
