    "Ignorance of the Law Excuses No One" is a legal principle holding that a peson who is
    unaware of a law may not escape from the liability for violating that law merely because
    he or she was unaware of its content.  In India we have a plethora of Laws which deals
    with issues concerning Labour administration, Labour Welfare, Regulation of industrial
    relations between the Management and the Workers.  One has to update his knowledge
    on legal compliances then and there to avoid unwilling consequences.
     
    Out of many Labour related Acts, Social Security Acts like EPF, EPS, ESI and Gratuity
    are need to be tackled carefully because they involve employee's Savings, Health and
    Terminal/Retirement benefits.
     
    Against this background, the HR & Skill Development Panel of Confederation of Indian
    Industry – Erode Zone is organizing an Interactive Session on “Latest Amendments in
    EPF & ESIC” on Friday, 27th July 2018 at Rotary CD Hall, Palayapalayam Pirivu,
    Erode.
