    Title: Kalikasan Resort

    Background:
    A piece of property is envisioned to be developing into a resort primarily focused on
    water (river) activities. It will be ideal for a three day respite from the urban daily life
    since the area is located just beyond the fringes of urban Manila. The ambiance calls for
    the natural enjoyment of its resources such that the only reminder of urban amenity is the
    small administration building where basic but complete equipment for emergency
    purpose only.

    The designer will have the discretion on the kind of activities that will be put in place,
    which will be included in the development. To maintain the sanctity of the place, vehicles
    will be allowed very limited access to its interiors. Further, the designer can have the full
    use of the water from the bank nearest the property to the opposite bank [including the
    use of the small island]. Lastly, the development must include facilities that will insure
    complete and efficient operations of the resort. In the process of planning and designing
    utmost environmental conservation must be adhered to. Existing vegetation can be
    augment but not decreased.
