1. POSITION: AHP Maintenance Manager

2. REPORTS TO: Head (AHP)

3. SCOPE:

The AHP maintenance manager will be responsible for carrying out routine, preventive and corrective
maintenance. Will be responsible for identification and control of all related spare parts, replacement
parts and consumables so as to maximize availability, reliability and power production.

PRINCIPAL FUNCTIONS:

a) Responsible for indetification of defects & leakages, attending it in a timely


manner.

b) Responsible for ensuring proper, efficient and safe maintenance of the facility
equipment by establishing, implementing, and maintaining maintenance procedures utilizing a
computerised maintenance management system (CMMS).

c) Responsible for replacement & servicing of all types of valves, dome


valves,material handling valves, air intake valves etc.

d) Responsible to assign the daily maintenance work loads and to supervise and
evaluate performance of assigned responsibilities.

e) Responsible for minimising cost of maintenance of ESP and optimise


equipment lifecycle cost.

f) Responsible for ensuring availability of spares and other infrastructure for


maintenance of ESP.

g) Responsible for periodic monitoring of pumps, inspection of pump bearing,


and replacement of bearing etc.

h) Responsible for balancing, condition monitoring and corrective action,


checking, setting & reparing of hangers & supports.

4. SPECIAL SKILLS:

a) Must have demonstrated good technical skills in the maintenance of power plant or related

equipment.

b) Must have knowledge of modern maintenance management tools and processes.

c) Must have worked in similar role in similar/same industry in not less than 300MW. Preferably
should have worked in super critical power plant of 660 MW and above.

d) Must be a Diploma/BE/BTech- Mechanical or equivalent with 8 to 12 yrs of experience.
