Duties and Responsibilities of ESWM Coordinator

1. Preparing, planning and implementing safe waste disposal strategies.


2. Managing budgets and ensuring that all waste disposal activities in jurisdiction comply
with environmental laws and regulations.
3. Develops administrative staff by providing information, educational opportunities, and
coaching.
4. Resolves administrative problems regarding to Ecological Solid Waste Management
5. Ensure the proper segregation collection, transport, storage, treatment and disposal of
solid waste
6. Strengthen the integration of ESWM and resources conservation and recovery topics
into the academic curricula.
7. Encourage private sectors (visitors) in participating in solid waste management
implementation.
8. Promote Research and development programs for the improvement of the solid waste
management

Duties and Responsibilities of Monitoring and Evaluating Team


1. The Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Officer will report to the ESWM Coordinator and
is responsible for coordinating monitoring, evaluation and reporting activities under the
award.
2.  The Monitoring and Evaluation Team Officer leads the development and management
of the Performance Monitoring Plan (PMP).
3. Developing a Monitoring and Evaluation plan
4. Help determine performance and impact indicators and targets
5. Provide support to proposal development for M&E components to ESWM.

Duties and Responsibilities of Incentive and Awards Team


1. Prepare and awards the certificate to the deserving groups
2. Solicit prices for the deserving groups
3. Establish an incentive structure to enhance student awareness in the proper
implementation of solid waste management with respect to culminating activities.

Duties and Responsibilities of Information, Education Campaign Team


1. Develop Communication Strategy in campaigning the proper waste segregation.
2. Analyze requirements and help integrate advocacy and communication strategies
3. The IEC campaign had a positive effect on awareness about the ESWM.
4. Make supervision more oriented towards problem solving.
5. Combine interpersonal communication strategy with mass media approach.
6. It create awareness, increase knowledge and change attitude.
