Verbs

Psychomotor: Construct sentence using common verbs.

III. Learning Experiences

A. Preparatory Activities

1. Drill

Have a game using basic action words e.g. “Follow what I say but don’t
follow what I do” game. Let learners act opposite to what you are doing using
cards with action words.

2. Review

The past lesson is all about “Demonstrative Pronoun”. Let your students
recall about the said lesson through giving some examples.

1. This is my house.

3. That is my bedroom.
4. Those are my puppies.
3. Motivation

Do you have a favorite cartoon character? Who is he/her? Why do you


like him/her? Whenever you watch cartoon movies, how are you supposed
to behave?

B. Developmental Activities

1. Presentation

“The outer space adventure of Phineas and Ferb”

One day, While they were sitting at their yard Phineas and
Ferb, had a strange idea, they plan to a big rocket, which they will
be using to go to the moon. When they finally got to the moon their
excitement brought them to jump vigorously. Phineas and Ferb had
a great time playing in outer space. They sing a lullaby, they dance
energetically and also they run all over the different regions of the
moon. The two boys had wonderful experience playing together.
That’s why Phineas and Ferb felt tired. At that point, They decided
to back to their house and take a rest. The end.

Activity 1

a. Did you understand the story?


b. Who are the characters of the story?
c. Where did they go?
d. What did they do in the moon?
e. What do Phineas and Ferb does first in the moon?
f. After that, what are the activities they do all over the moon?

Valuing:

 How would you behave when watching a cartoon movies?

2. Practice/ Fixing Skills

Paste the words that shows actions done by Phineas and Ferb when they
arrived at the moon.

3. Generalization

Did you now understand verbs? Can you give me some examples? Are
there any questions about verbs? What do we call to the word that shows
action?

Search for the words inside the word hunt as I give some clues for every word that
you are going to look for.
