Let us define and identify the earth’s Landform.


 Mountains- is the highest land forms on
earth. The top of the mountain is called
the PEAK and the sides called SLOPE.

 Volcano- is a special kind of mountain.


The opening called CRATER from
which lava, burning rocks, and ashes
come out. Lava is a very hot mud.

 Hill- is a highland that is lower than a


mountain.
 Plateau- is an elevated land area that is
surrounded by a lower land area. It is
different from a hill or a mountain
because it has a level top.

Mountain, Volcano, Hill, Plateau, Valley,


and Plain.

 Valley- is a flat level land between


mountains or hills. Usually, a river flow
through it.

 Plain- is a flat level land and a good


place for putting up buildings, airports,
and railroads.

Direction: The pupils will identify what type of
landform that will be presented. Color and

within 5 minutes.
