    Learning Objectives

    The students will understand animal needs by using the reading passage. The students will understand

    what animals need by using the google slides to navigate through the information.

    Lesson Ideas

    I chose to create a lesson using google slides. I have been using this program this year with my second-

    grade students and they have been success to complete several lessons with this program. By using google

    slides its makes learning fun and interactive for the students.

    Description of Lesson Assessments

    You can make an assessment for students easily using google slides. Since each student has their own

    set of slides you can input a quiz directly into the slides. Once students finish answering the assessment, they

    just need to share their slides with the teacher in order for the teacher to see their scores.

    Evidence Based Articles

    By incorporating technology into the classroom, students become more engaged and in control of their

    learning (Edutopia, 2007). Having smart boards, personal computers, and kindles in the classroom students will

    be more motivated (Fulton, 2020).

    Supporting School Vision and Mission

    The mission and vision of my school is do prepare our students for the future by giving them a rigorous

    learning environment. By incorporating my lessons with technology this will help to prepare my students for

    future careers that may involve technology. It can also help them to challenge themselves and keep them on

    track for success.
