Why is Career planning necessary?
Career planning is a great way to ensure one’s career is going in the right direction.
Whether one’s thinking about taking his first steps into the world of work, looking for a
career change or striving for bigger and better things in one’s current occupation, having
a career plan will help him to reach your goals.
My Career Plan:
My ultimate career objective is to become a teacher in a college. This is not an easy
task and this can’t be achieved in a single day or year. This will require a lot of
persistence and efforts.
Therefore, I will need to follow a career plan. Steps of my Career Plan:
1. Achieving a Bachelor’s Degree:
Acquiring a position of a college without a good degree is quite impossible. The tasks
essential to successfully run a class and overseeing student’s growth require the
development and sharpening of certain skills and competencies that are fundamentally
shaped during graduation.
Therefore, my first objective will be to achieve a Bachelor’s degree.
2. Gaining on the job experience:
The position of experienced teacher must be worked up. For those who have earned a
bachelor’s degree, building the on-the-job experience that’s crucial for corporate ladder-
climbing usually starts with an entry-level position. This climb does not happen
overnight. A College typically requires several years of professional experience. The
competencies honed throughout this lengthy journey typically relate to management
skills, best teaching practices, and leadership — essential qualities that help build a
solid foundation for success. So, during my graduation I will find a job for better
experience.
3. Achieving a Master’s degree:
While acquiring on the job experience I will achieve a Master’s Degree. Earning this
advanced degree prepares students for business by allowing them to take a deep dive
into the workings of all the elements of everywhere, from accounting to human
management. The advanced skill developed will prepare me to understand student’s
perspective; this can make it possible for me to make critical decisions as strong
leaders
