Present simple
WHAT IS THE PRESENT SIMPLE?
The present simple is a kind of tense that allows us to talk
about sentences that are true for us on a common basis, or
habits that are true (or not) for us (or for other people / objects),
or also for generalities.
EXAMPLES DON'T GET IT WRONG!

Here are some examples:

I eat lunch everyday at 1 PM.

I visit my grandmother on saturdays.
I rarely play with my dog during the mornings.
I don't wake up early.
My girlfriend never eats vegetables.
My neighbour always makes noise. EASY, RIGHT?
Present simple
WHEN EXACTLY DO WE USE IT?
El "simple present" se utiliza:
Para expresar hábitos y rutinas, hechos generales, acciones repetidas o situaciones,
emociones y deseos permanentes:
I smoke (hábito); I work in London (permanencia); London is a large city (hecho
general)
Para dar instrucciones o indicaciones:
You walk for two hundred meters, then you turn left.
Para hablar de eventos programados, presentes o futuros:
Your exam starts at 09.00.
Para referirse al futuro, detrás de algunas conjunciones: after, when, before, as soon
as, until:
He'll give it to you when you come next Saturday.

The third case where we want to use the present simple is
when:
3.- For things that are always or generally true
Contrary to spanish, in english we don't use
WARNING!: the present simple for actions that are
happening as we speak (at the moment we
are speaking)
Present simple- Negative form

WHAT IS THE NEGATIVE FORM?

We use the negative form to express things we don't do on a
regular basis or that are generally not true, or false facts.
REMEMBER:
HOW IS THE GRAMMAR? DON'T COMES FROM DO NOT
DOESN'T COMES FROM DOES NOT
The grammar for negative present
simple sentences is the following:

SUBJECT/PRONOUN +DON'T/DOESN'T +VERB (BASE FORM)+ REST OF THE SENTENCE

Examples:
I don't eat lunch at 7 A.M.
I don't go out to the park during midnight.
He doesn't take a lot of time to buy food.
