Continuation of shift 4 from the previous day.
— Start shift 2 = 06:00:00
The next shift begins.

Shift times need to be specified in ascending order.

Beispiel:
— Start shift 1 = 00:00:01 = ”shift 3” *)
— Start shift 2 = 06:00:00 = ”shift 1” *)
— Start shift 3 = 14:00:00 = ”shift 2” *)
— Start shift 4 = 22:00:00 = ”shift 3” *)
*) The shift identification can be specified freely.

5.8.2 Status indication for Can-bus and serial transfer

From firmware version 1.042 there is a status indication for the internal CAN-bus of the central
control unit shown in the upper right corner. Additionally a successful transfer of a serial data
string is displayed.
Status indication

If a CAN-bus is running in the inside of the central control unit, there is a small, green square
which flashes in irregular intervals (approx. 1x per second). The flash of the square is faster if a
marking takes place.

If the green square does not flash anymore but is durably white or green, the CAN-bus of the
central control unit is interrupted. This can also be the problem if the square flashes all the time
very fast. In this case the marking system should be disconnected from the power supply and
connected again after about 10 seconds (hardware reset) so that the marking system can boot
again. The CAN-bus should then run normally.

Please contact the MARKATOR service team if this problem occurs.

There is a frame around the green square which is either grey or brown.

The color change takes place after 15 successful, serial data transfers.

This applies for serial data transfers via an optional, serial interface card as well as for a data
transfer via an optional bus card.

11 Disposal
Follow the safety instructions in Chapter “Safety instructions”, page 6

The owner of the marking machine must take the necessary precautions to ensure that the
level of waste is minimized and/or recycled and disposed of in an environmentally-friendly
manner.
Recycling is preferable to disposal. The aim is to generate waste of a type and quality that
makes it suitable for high-quality recycling (German ”Recycling and Waste Disposal Act”).
An option is considered economically viable when the costs associated with recycling are
not disproportionate with the costs incurred by recycling.
If this is necessary to satisfy the requirements in accordance with sections 4 and 5, waste
destined for recycling must be kept and treated separately.
Waste not destined for recycling must be disposed of in accordance with the principles of
the waste disposal in line with public welfare as defined in section 10, insofar as no other
stipulation is made in sections 13 to 18. If this is necessary to satisfy the requirements in
accordance with section 10, waste destined for recycling must be kept and treated
separately.
The marking machine itself and its components have a long service life. The design focused on
the use of recyclable and harmless materials.
After use, this marking machine is suitable for proper recycling and environmentally-
compatible disposal.
Please comply with all national and regional waste disposal ordinances.
