STUDENT'S JOURNAL:

Reflect on the Filipino concept of a hero. Now that the nature of the concept of
"hero" has been clarified as not to be a posthumous award, how can a student
like you become a bayani in your own way?

For me, nowadays, my definition of a bayani is when you are able to help
yourself, the people surrounds you and as well as the whole community in any
form. As a student, who have been living in this world for almost 20 years, I
can be a bayani without using my physical strength to the point that I need to
sacrifice my life because even a little thing can make a difference. I just need to
be a good citizen of my country who follows the rules and regulations of the
barangay and the laws of our constitution. I just need to become good role
model who can inspire other people to do the same thing. And with that, we
can be able to build and continue the peacen that we have obtain for many
centuries.
