WHAT I HAVE LEARNED

1.You must select a topic that is fascinating, important, and applicable

to your field and it will draw attention to your research paper. It
would also make the research project less difficult.

2. It will provide you with expertise and facts on the subject you have
selected. It would be much simpler for you to generate a large amount of
data that will benefit your beneficiaries and potential researchers in
this situation.

3.This step allows you to assess the situation. It will inspire you and
assist you in formulating questions.

3.Median. The center score in a distribution.
4.Range. The difference between the highest and lowest scores in a
distribution.

WHAT’S NEW

1. It is an alternate statement expressed to be tested in order to generate

the desired output.
2. It reflects the relationship between the independent and dependent
variable.
3. Giving a lot of information clearly and in a few words; brief but
comprehensive.
4. Are those where one can predict the direction.
5. Working hypothesis is that one which is applied to a field. During the
formulation it is an assumption only but when it is pat to a test become
an empirical or working hypothesis.
6. Prove to be false.
7. A supposition or proposed explanation made on the basis of limited
evidence as a starting point for further investigation.
8. Simply states that there will be a difference between the two
groups/conditions but does not say which will be greater/smaller,
quicker/slower.
9. Is contrary to the positive statement of a working hypothesis. According
to null hypothesis there is no relationship between dependent and
independent variable.
10. Able to be tested.

WHAT’S MORE
Evaluation of scientific, academic, or professional work by others working
in the same field.
1. General reference is an encyclopedia, handbook, dictionary, or similar
source that covers multiple unrelated disciplines.
2. Alerts the reader to a source that has informed your own writing.
3. A magazine or newspaper published at regular intervals.

field or industry.
6. A program that searches for and identifies items in a database that
correspond to keywords or characters specified by the user, used
especially for finding particular sites on the World Wide Web.
7. Is software for scholars and authors to use for recording and utilizing

references
8. This is where you present your findings and arguments in a structured
way.

10.Reference and Bibliography

Bibliography is listing all the materials that have been consulted while
writing an essay or a book. References, on the other hand, are those that
have been referenced in your article or book.
Reference – are those that are directly included in your actual text.
Bibliography - is not directly included in the text.

Thesis and Dissertation

- Thesis is based on existing research. On the other hand, a dissertation
will more than likely require the doctoral student to conduct their own
research and then perform analysis.
Thesis - thesis statement just states a point to explain to readers how you're
going to prove an argument in your study.
Dissertation - you need to define results you expect from your written work &
describe your expectations.

Chronological review and Methodological review

- Chronological review describes each work in succession starting with the
earliest available information while methodological review focus on
research methods rather than the research.

Primary sources and Secondary sources

- A primary source is an original document or other piece of material that
was created at the time of the actual events or within its time period
while secondary source builds upon one or more primary sources.
