    A. RATIONALE

    COVID-19 pandemic created changes in the different aspects of life. Mobility


    is restricted and health protocols are strictly implemented. In addition, the education
    sector felt the need to implement policies for learning to continue despite the
    challenges. As a response, teachers need to upskill and reskill in order to assist and
    facilitate learning. For schools, students are having a hard time on how to deal with
    the prescribed activities on the Learning Modules. The solution lies in reactive
    changes to teacher’s way of teaching TLE which will be suitable for the new norms of
    education and the crafting of localized/contextualized activities is deemed necessary
    as we embrace changes and the new normal set-up.

    B. OBJECTIVES

    The training aims to

    a) discuss the new norms of teaching TLE on Distance Learning;


    b) identify prerequisite knowledge and skills needed to prepare students for
    essential learning competencies; and
    c) craft one localized/contextualized assessments in TLE 7-10.
