Desktop View
1. Accessing DAIS Platform

Go to the URL below and log in using your credentials.

URL: https://dais.vgos.org/

Enter your username and password.

2. Class Schedule
After logging in, you will see your schedule for the current day.

You can also access your schedule from any other screen by clicking the ‘Schedule’
link on the header.

2.1 Navigating Your Schedule

The current time is indicated on the top left corner.

1. The current week is displayed on top, and today’s date is highlighted. You can
select another date to view that day’s schedule.

2. The arrows on the top right corner can be used to navigate to past or future
weeks.

2.2 Understanding Your Schedule

1. Your sessions for a day are listed in chronological order.

2. Online sessions are indicated by

3. The types of content available for a session are indicated by individual icons.
a. Prerequisites
b. Resources
c. Assignments

4. A blue check mark appears next to a session when it is in-progress or


completed.

5. You can join the video conference for an online session by clicking on the
‘Click to Join’ button. This button will be visible 5 minutes before the start
time of the session and will be available for the entire duration of the
session.

3. Accessing Session Content

All available content for past, ongoing or future sessions can be accessed from the
sessions page.
1. On your schedule, click anywhere on a session card (indicated by red borders
below), except for the ‘Click to Join’ button.

2. You will arrive at the session details page, and the session you selected will be
displayed.

3. All content is categorized by tabs at the top of the viewing area.
a) Prereqs – prerequisite documents for students to study before class
b) Resources – other documents for a session
c) Assignments – homework or quiz for a session

4. Join a Video Conference

1. You can join the video conference for an online session from your schedule by
clicking the ‘Click to Join’ button on a session card

2. Alternatively, you can also join a video conference from the session details page,
by clicking the ‘Click to Join’ button on the top right corner of the viewing area.

3. You will be redirected to a new tab from where you will be able to launch the MS
Teams application.
4. If you do not have the MS Teams app installed on your computer, Click the first
button – Download the Windows/Mac app. You will be prompted to specify a
location on your computer to save the app.
5. Open the downloaded file to install the MS Teams app on your computer.

6. After the MS Teams app is installed, return to the browser page below and click
‘Open your Teams app’. On the popup, check the “Always allow…” option and click
the ‘Open Microsoft Teams’ button. You will taken to your online classroom.
7. If you have the MS Teams app installed on your computer, click ‘Open your Teams
app’ to launch it. On the popup, check the “Always allow…” option and click the
‘Open Microsoft Teams’ button. You will taken to your online classroom.

5. Session Assignments
5.1 View Assignments

All available assignments for a session can be accessed from the Assignments tab on
the session details page

1. Click on the Assignments tab.


2. All available assignments will be listed here. Click on an assignment to open it.

3. Here you will see


a) the assignment’s description
b) attached files and links
c) link to sumbit your assignment

d) Click on ‘Links Attached’ to view any websites referenced for the assignment.
e) Click on the link to open it in a new browser tab.

f) Click on ‘Files Attached’ to view any files attached to the assignment.


g) Click on the file name to open it in a new tab or click the download icon next
to a file to download it onto you computer.
h) Click on ‘back to assignment’ to return to the list of all available assignments
for a session.

5.2 Submit Assignments

1. Click on My Submission
2. Click on the view icon to upload your submission.

3. In the popup, click ‘Upload File’ to open your device’s file browser.

4. Select your assignment from the file browser and it will start uploading.
5. Once the upload is complete, you will see a delete icon next to the file name.

6. Click ‘Save’ to upload you files without submitting them.
7. Click ‘Save & Submit’ to upload and submit your files.
8. Click cancel to exit without uploading or saving the selected files.

9. If you Saved your uploaded files, but did not submit them, you may submit them
at any other time by clicking on the view icon to open the submission popup.

10. Here you can


a. Submit files that you’ve already uploaded
b. Delete previously uploaded files
c. Download previously uploaded files
d. Upload new files
e. Save any changes i.e. if you delete files and/or upload new files. The ‘Save’
button will be disabled if there are no changes.

5.3 Re-submit an Assignment

You can resubmit an assignment before it is graded.


1. From the Assignments tab, go to the assignment that you wish to re-submit
2. Click on the view icon to open the submission popup.

a. Delete previously uploaded files
b. Download previously uploaded files
c. Upload new files
d. Submit any changes to your submissions.

5.4 View Your Grades

1. To view your grades, the teachers comments for an assignment, and any files the
teacher may have uploaded for your reference, go to the Assignments tab and click
on the assignment.
2. The assignment status will show your grade.
3. To view any comments from your teacher and any files the teacher may have
uploaded for your reference click on the view icon to open the submission
popup.
4. Click on the ‘Grade’ tab.

5. Your grade, the teachers comments and any files uploaded by the teacher will
appear here.

6. List of Assignments for All Your Subjects

1. Click on the ‘Assignments’ link in the header from any screen to see all past and
current assignments for all your classes.

2. Assignments are categorized by subject.


3. The listed assignments can be further sorted by subject and due date.
4. Click on the icon next to any assignment to open it in the session details page.

7. Notifications

The notification panel on the left is available on every page, and it lists the tasks that
need your attention as well as upcoming online and self-study sessions.

7.1 Reminders

There are 2 types of notifications in the reminders section

1. Prerequistes for a session: these remind you to study certain content before the
beginning of a class period. This notification will appear until the start time of a class
period. Click on the reminder to study available prerequisites.

2. Assignments: these remind you of available assignments.

7.2 Upcoming

The Upcoming section lists all your future online sessions, which are live class
sessions conducted over a video conference.

7.3 Self Study

The Self Study section lists all student-led sessions for a particular day. The date for
the listed sessions is displayed on the top right of this section.

You can change the date for which to list self study sessions from the date selector at
the top of the schedule page.

8. Library

The library is a repository of documents, textbooks, or any other material for your
classes. It can be accessed from the ‘Library’ link on the header, which is available on
every page.

1. All files in your library are categorized by subjects.


2. You can view all files for a particular subject by selecting that subject from the
drop down list.
3. To download a file on your computer, click the download icon and save the file.
4. To view the file, click the view icon. The file will open in a new browser tab.

9. Quiz

The Quiz link on the header will redirect you to the quiz module. Your teacher will
inform when to access this module.

1. Click on the Quiz link in the header. This link can be accessed from any page in
DAIS.

2. On the Quiz homepage you can see

a. Live Quizzes
b. Homework quizzes
c. Upcoming quizzes

Live Quiz

These are quizzes that you are currently open for you to take. These include all types
of quizzes i.e. homework, scheduled and surprise quizzes.

1. Click on the Launch button to attempt a quiz.

2. On the next page, you will see the total number of questions in the quiz, the
number of subjective and objective questions and any instructions from your
teachers.
3. Click Start Quiz to begin
4. You can use the Next button to move to the next question or click on the question
numbers at the bottom to jump to a specific question.

5. The submit button is available on the last question. Click on it to submit your
answers

6. The status of the quiz on the homepage will change to Submitted.

Homework Quizzes

These quizzes are part of your homework, but are not currently open. Your teacher
will give you details about any quizzes here.

Upcoming Quizzes
These are quizzes that will be open in the future. Your teacher will give you details
about any quizzes here.

1. Accessing DAIS Platform

Go to the URL below on a smartphone and log in using your credentials.

URL: qfx.vibgyorhigh.com

Enter your username and password.

2. Class Schedule
After logging in, you will see your schedule for the current day.

2.1 Navigating Your Schedule

1. To view you class schedule for another day, tap on the calendar icon.
2. The selected day will be highlighted.
3. The current day is indicated by a gray circle.
4. The month can be changed using the arrows on the top right of the calendar.
5. The year can changed using the selector on the top left of the calendar.

After selecting a date, you will see the schedule for that day ,and the selected date
will be displayed to the left of the calendar icon.

2.2 Understanding Your Schedule

1. On your schedule, all past classes for the current date will be highlighted in
gray.
2. All ongoing and upcoming classes will be highlighted in blue.

The Navigation bar at the bottom allows you to switch between

5. All your upcoming classes
6. Self-study sessions for all your classes for the selected date

The numbers on each tab in the navigation bar indicate the number of items
available within a particular tab.

The Navigation bar at the top allows you to switch between the different modules of
the app.

3. Accessing Session Content

1. On your schedule, click anywhere on a session card (indicated by red borders

4. Join an Online Class

1. You can join the video conference for an online session from your schedule by
tapping the ‘Click to Join’ button on a session card

5. Session Assignments

5.1 View Assignments

All available assignments for a session can be accessed from the Assignments tab on
the session details page

1. Click on the Assignments tab.


2. All available assignments will be listed here. Click on an assignment to open it.

3. Here you will see
a) the assignment’s description
b) attached files and links
c) link to sumbit your assignment

d) Click on ‘Links’ to view any websites referenced for the assignment.


e) Click on the link to open it in a new browser tab
f) Click on ‘Files ’ to view any files attached to the assignment.
g) Click on the download icon next to a file to download it onto you computer.
h) Click on ‘Back to Assignment’s to return to the list of all available assignments
for a session.

5.2 Submit Assignments

a. Click on Submit Assignment

b. Then tap the upload icon on the bottom right
c. A pop-up box will open.
d. Tap the Upload button to select a file to upload from your phone, and then tap
Submit.

5.3 Re-submit an Assigment

You can resubmit an assignment before it is graded. Follow the same steps as above
to re-submit your assignment.

5.4 View Your Grades

Once graded, the Submit Assignment tab will show your grade, and any comments
written by your teacher.

6. List of Assignments for All Your Subjects

1. Tap on the ‘Assignments’ tab on the top navigation bar from any screen to see all
past and current assignments for all your classes.
2. Assignments are categorized by subject.
3. Tap on a subject to list all assignment for that subject.

7. Library

8. Quiz

The Quiz link on the header will redirect you to the quiz module. Your teacher will

DAIS.
