1.0 MODULE DESCRIPTION

This course allows students to formulate mathematical models of data and to use computer software models to
generate optimal solutions that can guide business decisions

2.0 MODULE OBJECTIVES/LEARNING OUTCOMES

1) Apply quantitative analysis techniques to business problems;
2) Make decisions for business controls by establishing criteria, alternatives and using
the appropriate quantitative model.
1. Please be aware that my notes may not exactly match those on the power points, as I prepare from many different
sources. However, the principles will be the same.
