INTRODUCTION
• A diverse classroom is one which we see students from different cultural backgrounds, social
backgrounds, individual differences, mental disposition, different types of personality, different
belief and different religions and traditions.

DEFINITION
• Diverse classroom is defined as the one in which students significantly differ in their physical
and psychological trait, socio-economic status and learning abilities.
• Diverse classroom is the classroom nature where the human relationship and its natural
environment is understood, where the difference in nature of one student with the other
student is respected with the exchange of feelings.

1. Understanding The Learning Styles Of Students
And Teaching
Some student want to listen more to the teaching of the teacher and gather
information and concepts for his learning.
Teacher should teach students by lecture method and by interacting with them.
Some students observe more for learning, and these students should be taught by
showing visuals or scenery or diagram in the classroom
Some students touch and feel objects for learning anything, and these students should
be taught by involving them in physical activities
The teacher who teacher the diverse classroom should understand the learning styles
of the students and should plan for teaching in the classroom
Teacher can encourage group learning and co-operative learning by asking them share
their learning styles in the classroom

Even in students who have the same type disability , the teacher should identify their

• Our country is a developing country with people who are socially and

• The teacher should form the groups that each group has the students from
different economic and social status
CONCLUSION
Teacher should respect the diversity of the classroom, treat the students
impartially and should guide them in their learning process. Teacher should
understand the dimension of the diversity of the classroom and create positive,
safe and nurturing classroom atmosphere for teaching the students in the
classroom.
