The guide discusses skills, gear, farming, and challenges for playing a swashbuckler character in Orna.

Early skills like Warcry from Warrior and poison skills from Rogue are recommended. Skills from classes like Paladin, Druid, and Adept are also discussed.

Tips include turning off auto-dismantle, focusing on offense over defense, and aiming for net zero defense from gear. Resistance gear for certain builds is also mentioned.

Introduction

Hello and welcome to swashbuckling.

A few common quandaries new swash find themselves in leave many confused or discouraged such as gear you once
tossed away just became incredibly valuable.
For starters, I recommend turning off auto dismantle on broken poor and normal for a few days to collect some element
gear and broken variant.

All too commonly, swash waste turns with Golem’s Fortitude and Barrier. These are unnecessary, unless playing high
resistance builds, they are wasting turns casting buffs that will not help you. In reverse, def down from Bear’s Might is no
longer a negative; while it offers no bonus it won’t degrade you either.

Sometimes no clothes is the best gear.

Probably the most asked question is: How low do I need my defense to be?
You need your gear to be at 0* or lower. So if armor has 200 def you need to -200 def. It is rumored that with no def from
gear, your attack from gear is 50% higher. This seems fairly solid.
A great way to check your max allowable def is to look at your stats when naked.
Note * many have noticed full pasive at slight more neg than pos but most keep their gear as a net zero

Part 1: Skills ☆1-10

These are skills that you will utilize later in the game. It's a good idea to buy most lower tier classes. While I personally
recommend buying all T1-4 classes, these are the skills you will need and you may buy the classes required at a later
time.

Part 5: Gauntlet Setup and World play

☆7 - Welcome to Swash 1.0

Majistrate, Archdruid, or Dragon Knigtess play well with swash style.
Use your best non element weapon and target Fafnir for Cursed Rings to allow for the use of gear like Sala’s Hood, Sala’s
Robe, Dark Garb, Lunar Gear, Aldon’s Hat, yeti armor or any other status immune item you might find. Use Mirror
accessory for mana if on majistrate.

Skill setup will be Bear’s Might, Warcry, Blightstrike, Tricut II, Ward skill if using ward, Osmostrike or Osmostrike II, and
Tricut II or Swordplay. These can one hit most mobs.
● Round 1 and 2: Buff with ward* (if using) then Bear’s Might and Warcry
● Round 3: Check your base attack with a standard attack. The damage number is your basic damage range.
● Round>3:
○ Use the standard attack or Osmostrike on anything lower than your base attack
○ Tricut on anything with more hp
○ Blightstrike on dragons and mimics only

*
You may only use ward to get buffed and then just keep damage going.

☆8 - Beginning of the True Swash

Arcanic, freya or Atlas Vanguard (nechro works also but is weird as you gain only forbid as a usefullskill most try nechro
after gaining a mele class for skills)is your new class and the beginning of true swash. You're going to want to start
hunting for coral gear and a good weapon.

● The same strategy is used as ☆7 except now skills like Lunge and Guts will refill your mana because Recharge
refills your Mana and HP with critical hits. For Atlas I recommend running a sheild and using Ward the swash
bonus will keep his dmg up while you just tank around.
● Low hp on Arac can be used to your advantage just don't risk being one shot better safe than sorry as swash.
● You may also add your affinity and remove affinity if you wish for added dmg
● If using Atlas you'll want to focus on a hammer for the proficiency

☆9 - Dungeon Crawling with Nyx, baha, Titan or Omnimancer(it's better than you'd think)
● Nyx will increase your damage massively but deplete your mana; a Mirror is highly advisable on nyx. This is the
class that can spam low Mana skills for high dmg and fully heal often with Life siphon
● Baha will benefit highest from gear of all swash at this stage.
○ you want gear from the T9 raid polly full incarnate gear with crimson pinions and sempre forte will be
devastating and allow you to run nearly 3,000 resistance this is considered the anti-mage build.
● Titan guard will be ward focused while still trying to go for the swash passive this will allow you to use weird gear
that has high Ward but low stats otherwise you can then basically just wall up Rush In and blast everything it's
incredibly easy mode and great for raiding (we talk about that in raids bellow)

● The same strategy as teir 7 applies with the addition of two new damage skills depending on your level,
Swordplay II and Swordplay III. These two skills do massive dmg and normally build on each other each turn.
● Omniswash is the greatest protection from magic while adding endless skill play and you also are randomly quite
hard to kill through RNG steadfast and Mana rush can be better than huge hp or ward at times
● At this point you should be slowly changing gear on world and guantlet to Ornate venin, court jester armor, lost
helm and coral boots any offhand is fine. This will gain you expand your expand orns much faster
● Add Band Of Gods to your load out once you beat the story to provide XP, Gold, and Orn bonus.
☆10 - God Swashing
Realmshifter swash.
● You will want to run Venin Demon-Forged as your weapon.
● Use one of two sets Arisen Tomes or Band Of Gods and Mirror on your off hand, or anti Mana with fey arrows
and using volley 3 and low HP. Realm no longer dies from self harm.
● Lost Helm and Dark Garb with Coral Boots for your armor. This is designed to help farm as many orns as possible.
Or as you increase your pinion gear working in low def and high attack gear can speed things along
● Skills will be the same except now you're going to do the most dmg below 50% hp because of Resurgence, have
fun wrecking dungeons.
● Watch out on thief class opponents and Mighty Griffin I recommend Swordplay for Griffin and Tricut II on all past
floor 16.
● Add Gait of Gunnr asap. Helpful not helpful you decide.
● Try having 1 hp once fully buffed, this is achieved with berserk killing you as you kill the enemy. You will transfer
to the next battle at 1 hp as long as you don't miss you will one hit almost every thing in orna with Tricut II or
basic attack. You can always use Swordplay III or Osmostrikes if you think Arisen Mammon is too tough.

A Second Strategy: "The Perfect Gauntlet "

● Begin with all attack buffs you have
● Then use Perfect Shot (pay attention to its damage)
● Use Perfect Shot to insta-kill anything in your damage range and remember you can ride 1 hp as long as you
don't miss and Perfect Shot can't miss.
● I recommend using full heals if you need mana and things like Balor Gateway, Arisen Hydra, and other nonsense
creatures that use high dmg multi-hit skills.
● Final round use Swordplay III or Osmostrikes II. You may also use a full heal if you rode the perfect shot to the
final stage; as happens occasionally; and you feel more comfortable being at full hp for arisen gods not wanting
to risk a miss.

ENDLESS
● With the addition of realms new passive endless is now an option (tb updated)

Gilgaswash
In my opinion this is easy mode dungeons
● For gear roll all pure and true grinding gear, that venin, your favorite accessories, and court jester armor with lost
helm
● I recommend a shield* or mirror **
● Boots are optional, coral is a great pick for added attack via passive boost

These are two strategies both work well in any gauntlet mode even endless for endless hard I recommend Strategy A
strategy

Strategy A
● First off level your gear up to no less than 2 and slap some Jewel of the Deep on for mana
● For this you will use your favorite shield or non-ward damaging offhand like Balin's Left.
● Round one, activate Bear’s Might, Gait of Gunnr, and Wyvern Speed II, also turn element to neutral if you have
not already.
● From here spend the next few floors rotating Guarding Strikes III and Ward of Light II
● Osmostrikes II if needed, but the idea is to kill with Guarding Strikes III, heal ward and hp with Ward of Light II2
and heal mana via taking dmg.
● Using this rotation, I could easily get to between floor 70 and 100 in endless hard mode.

Strategy B
A Little simple but fast and effective
● Start with Wyvern speed 2, Bear’s Might and Gait of Gunnr, then Ward of Light II until full ward
● Then rotation of basic attack if it will one hit
● Tricut II if not
● And Osmostrikes II if your low hp or they have big hp

Diety Swash
● Imo this is the cheesecake class, this build has not lost me a dungeon yet
● Run full orn or exp gear with Venin(may be your element for dmg bonus)
● I recommend Incarnate, Coral, and Sala's for gear and Fey Arrows for offhand
● Buff with attack buffs
● Then 3 slightly different approaches

1) Mana range 1100 to 1600

a) Use basic attack for the first 10 to 13 floors if possible, then spam Quadcut II
b) Use dragon attacks for resistant mobs
2) Mana range 1600 to 2000
a) Use basic attacks to floor 7 then Quadcut II for everything else
b) Dragon attacks for mimics and what not
3) Mana range 2000 to 3000+
a) Use Quadcut II to floor 17 then continue or if Mana siphoning went off alot use Swordplay III to
get mana down to around 300 to 400 for final battle to maximize Demigod skill

● Always use Osmostrikes II or Swordplay III on Arisen Hydra and final boss .
● The goal here is to be at around 300 mana for the final boss for full mana passive.

Bestla/ Beowulf
● With the recent additions to Beowulf like HP block chance this is actually a very viable class now
● Will be adding alot soon

Part 6: Farming XP and Orns gear tables

The number shown is the multiplier. For example, if you have an Ornate Monster Tome and expect 1,000XP without it,

Part 7: Raid Strategy - The Real Swash Challenge
You probably won't be soloing any raids as swash until your really geared out however for short bursts of 1 to 4mil it’s
incredibly effective

Starting Out
I'll start with a method for new swash or players new to tiers with subpar gear
This is the smash and grab method to increase raid drops without making you waste time or resources trying to struggle.
Best weapon plus best attack accessories and armor that blocks the raid bosses magic
1. Threaten
2. Bear’s Might
3. on rotation on mana and your best osmo hit
4. One can do a few 100k sometimes in seconds before getting slapped by the raid boss

7☆: Magistrate vs. Balor Elite

Run bow of tiamat or best weapon with a mirror first choice, whisper offhand, parry dagger second or a shield if ward
swash
Armor will be bare or add one broken fire boots of minimal def
Accessories use dex acc or fire pro belt if no boots you can put gear on if you have cursed rings

You raid rotation will be always heal mana when at half mp and near full hp
1. Bears might
2. (Heal with osmostrike 3 if needed)
3. Mute
4. (Heal if needed)
5. Threaten
6. (Heal if needed)
7. War cry or attack potion
8. (Heal if needed)
9. Horizontal slash until def broken Healing as needed
10. Then smash him with osmostrike3 healing mana as needed
11. You may toss Swordplay in for more dmg if you like when hp is full
● Use golem pet if you want ward protection with a shield
● Twilight wisp can keep you healthy
● War horse will increase your dmg after a minute
7☆: Dragon Knight vs. Balor

7☆: Arch Druid vs. Balor Elite

8☆: Arcanic vs. Fallen King Arthus

● For this fight I recommend all 4 elemental protection on your gear and best case coral gear with elements.
● Use a heimdall shield for water pro and the other 3 elements on helm armor and feet.
● Use the best weapon you can muster.
● You'll also need to get cursed rings - preferred legendary or ornate asap.
● skill rotation is pretty much the same thing from Majistrate but you now can work in affinity of your element and
sword play when your hp and mana are full for big dmg and big buffs.
● If you need skill slots consider buffing attack up one and dex up with potions.

8☆: Freya vs. King Arthus

8☆: Atlas vs. King Arthus

9☆: Nyx vs. Apollyon

For polly I'm sure any smash and grab method will work but one method I've found to be incredibly successful was a
weapon with no less than 5 slots filled with mammon tears.
● Broken realm gear can help with magic and coral gear can offset def
● I recommend using a shield for buff stage but if you're confident in your skills a melee off hand can do faster dmg
● I recommend cursed rings on acc from turn one.
1) Start with best ward skill(or skip to 2 if no ward)
2) Bears might
3) Wyvern speed 2 (dance like a wyvern so it doesn't fail)
4) Threaten
5) Mute
6) Shroom
7) Wyrmsong (up to you)
8) Then either a rotation of osmo3 or osmostrikes and Swordplay 3 or 2

I found this to work for me up to 1 or 2mil damage with a decent success rate at about 1 mil dmg a minute.
You can also work in ward spells and run ward for them pesky crits.

9☆: Baha vs. Apollyon

9☆: Titan Guard vs. Apollyon

9☆: Omnimancer vs. Apollyon

10☆: Realmshifter vs. The Morrigan

● Weapon =your best weapon (I use bident MF currently with 5 arisen mammon tears for atack and magic down)
● Helm= aldons hat with an element or any lightning or earth element should be opposite of pants.
● Armor= yeti coat (NB)
● Pants=highly recommend smelly shoes with an element if you dont got it any lightning or earth element should
be opposite of helm.
● Offhand =mighty griffin shield
● Accessories= your best arisen ring and ceres belt or belt of fire you may also add briny pendent or awn ring for
status protection

● ( both pants elemental immortal stuff good also)
● This renders all 5 magic spells that morrigan uses to half dmg. This is very important
● If using a sala hood with an element run HP gems all raid gear with sockets for morrigan should be HP.
● If you have my fist picks
● The yeti coat will block freeze
● hat will block stun
● And boots will block blight
● If you cant block all 4 base elements you can sub in ward of "insert element" you need or ward of balor 2

My rotation is very specific. I cast buffs until I get hit the first time using ward of ortanite after first hit on my character. I
cast buffs in this order
☆1) Gunnr or bears might
☆2) gunnr or bears
☆3) wyvern speed 2
☆4) element affinity
☆5) wyrms song
☆6)berserk shroom
● The turn after the first hit from morrigan I use ward of ortanite for the remainder buffs I do not heal during this
except mana.
● Once fully buffed dmg rotation kicks in
● At near full hp Swordplay 3
● After taking dmg osmostrikes 2
● Healing mana when at full hp and at less than 30% mana with greater potions

● A second method is to just spam osmostrikes 2 and heal mana with super pots as its 5k hp heal now.
● Strongly recommend chimera as your pet. I've tried other brand pets; chimera is the best.

I'm sure other strategies exist but this one works very well for me and my guilds dmg caps.

When mana is at 300 pay attention to a turn where she misses or uses a spell she almost always does this every 3 turns
at 300 mana you can cast 3 osmostrikes2 all but guaranteed you'll have a free turn at 100% hp

this not only gets mana back to full but also won't waste dmg potential as your only healing hp with attack and only
attacking at low hp maximizing my passive and minimal moments of near death experiences.

10☆: Gilgaswash vs. The Morrigan

Ward strategy for soloing raids

● Coming
Low ward high burst for getting a few punches in
● Weapon: your best with full assassin gems trust me the added saboteur passive will be much more effective on
gil than an added 80 attack
● Armor selection: between your armor and accessories I recommend all 4 elements but you can sub out for ward
skills if preferred or gear unavailable.
● The added dragon protection on gilgamesh means no dragon shield required so offhand can be used as you
prefer.
● Gilgamesh battle rotation can very depending on your style but here is imo the easiest way to go about
gilgamesh and morrigan.

Because you start with ward for 10 turns you can buff freely if using a shield (recommended) I rely on 10 turns of shield
to soak dmg while I set up get element pro up first if needed and then follow this battle rotation you shouldn't need to
heal mana welcome to the greatness of gilgamesh passive and bo def
1) Gunnr or skip to 2
2) Bears might
3) Wyvern speed
4) Element affinity (unless weapon is already your element)
5) Ward of light 2
6) Shroom
7) Ward of light 2*
8) Ward of light 2*
9) Ward of light 2*
10) Ward of light 2*
11) At this point one should have fairly high ward and be fully buffed giving 100% passive the rest of the fight,
making you ready for battle. you're now tanking full force dmg and will repel it with osmostrikes 2 Over and over
and over heal mana when she misses and you're below half.
12) If you like you can work in ward skills to activate mana trickle while battling or use swordplay 3 for the extra
boost.

*if hp is at uncomfortable low use osmostrikes 2

Part 8: PVP - Arena and Kingdom Wars

As far as I've seen there are 4 swash arena builds that translate to each tier;
● Pure dmg
● Sabotage
● Anti magic
● High dodge
● Dualweild

Pure Damage Swash

Probably the easiest concept and easiest to gear.
● Put on your best weapon and keep your def low if not 0 use neg def items.
● Use salas gear for more dmg and cursed or arisen rings paired with arcane arrows or another high dmg offhand.
● Then try running simple buffs and only your most powerful skill set for high dmg.
● Start with bears might or mimic mischief and start attack up.
● If opponent 0s your skills use basic attack as it should cut through the damage threshold.
● Good pets for this build are Twisp (heals), great yeti(magic pro), cthulhu(magic pro and small heals),
chimera(purest dmg build).

Sabotage swashbuckler
Imo this is the hardest to gear to the maximum.
● To start with I recommend a weapon with 7 slots at ☆9 polly drops amazing random great katanas with 8
sockets, it's easy to DF and has a really decent attack and adds negative def. In ☆7 and ☆8 just get the best
weapon with decent slot capabilities.
● Then I recommend a combination or a full suit of arcane gems, mammon tears, and arisen mammon tears.
● Offhand is best to use arcane arrows, mammon sword or chu arrows.
● Accessories and armor are kinda your pic I recommend doing high hp or dex to help you last longer
● Pet will be great yokai
● The idea here is to start off with miasma then use sword play or basic atack to inflict mass status effects while
still delivering medium dmg from high swash attack.
● T10 random generated items are very usefull here
● New spoor adornment is good for sab

Anti-mage swash
● For this I recommend a Vulcan longsword but your best weapon will do as always.
● You will need coral gear, preferred legendary or ornate lv.10, best case with elements.
● If by some crazy chance you have Alpha Myrddin Cloak now’s the time to use it.
● A dragon shield for anti dragon and small ward buffer.
● acc can be best rings or anti magic belts. cerus belt adds hp and gives burn protection.
● Done properly I've reduced CG on baha to around 5k hits using normal coral gear.
● You'll want to come in with bears might or mimic mischief and then use skills that pair ward with attacks like
seals or jump or many others it's best to play around.
● Pet recommendations are golems for ward, great yeti or cthulhu for magic protection or anubis for high dmg and
physical downa to enemy helping the def side you are strongly ignoring in this build.

High Dodge aka The Dancing Swashbuckler.

● Ok so start with a good dex weapon, at ☆8 and 9 lots of good options become available.
● Your going to have a lot of armor choices(at ☆8 you can use coral gear to give more dex gear options by
reducing the def of better dex gear)
● I personally like broken raid gear for the slot potential and normally have decent dex to start with. Most of the
Merlin gear has good dex but probably not many of you have this.
● You can use parry dagger and horus robe pretty early they both have huge dex, as well as fairy rings or steel belts
for more added dex
● For skills, you will want wyvern speed 2 or a dex up skill (like sidestep) and bears might. Then just run your best
dmg skills and hope to dance around them remembering that dodge via dex has a dodge rate cap probably
around 40%
● Good pets include direwolf dmg and dex
● Mighty Griffin (personally I hate him)
● Twisp for heals
● Or at ☆10 anubis and chimera can be quite helpful dmg dealers while you dodge around.

Best defense setups for me personally.

Realmshifter
● Fajar mantle lv 10
● Surtr's arisen boots LV 10
● Coral cowl legendary or better
● Or high crit Avalon helm or high dmg Avalon crown
● Arisen surtr helm is highly useful with it's 2k hp
● All gear with dex gems
● Main hand fey babd catha or night break or best dex preferred over 200
● Offhand fey arrow
● Accessories arisen rings
● Skills= gunnr, Sortie, bears might, realmstrikes with crit
For me personally I found a higher output of defensive wins not for offense.

Gilgamesh
● Arisen Surtr's helm ornate
● Fey yeti coat any quality
● Coral legs legendary or ornate
● Rings one each legendary or better arisen cursed ring and one ornate immortal ring
● Either a one handed axe with no element and a good shield or gungir no element
● Skills gunnr, bears might, and osmostrike 3

Part 5-8 continued: build ideas with offhand abilities.

Part 9: Preferred Items

This section might not be necessary but I commonly run into late level swash players who never even thought about this
stuff.

PART 12: Pinion Farming.

Create an alt odie has made this so streamlined he is asking you to do this.
(I highly recommend having a main character that can make and refresh shops to feed alt arena tokens potions and quest
materials)
Level 1-10
● Class warrior.
● You will start immediately by focusing on blue slimes( for main quest )and mele creatures for a better wep
● Check daily quest and do all you can(daily are a massive source of orns early on) walking quests take less than 15
minutes of jogging and are good for the heart and the orns.
● Search shops for mele accessorie pendents.
● Literally take best gear you can find and use whet stones to take wepons to level 3 do not worrie about
upgrading youll be past this phase soon.
Level 10 to 25
● You should have 10 arena tokens go to arena wear all the highest atack gear you have and kill them It shouldn't
be difficult...congratulations your tier 2.
Level 25 to 50
● Do not take subclass
● From here seek out aldon and take his quest
● Look for amulets best gear possible
● Complete main story quest
● Feed tokens for arena gear T3 should happen fast if using arena
● Doing achievements gains orns fast and alot are very easy, use orns early to unlock the basic classes skipping
knight as you will play Valkyrie.
Level 50 to 75
● Here you want to buy battle Master and centurion
● And take either berserk or hunter if you listened in T2 its free now at T3
● Shoot for the best attack gear you can find and look in arena for offhands that give attack
● Area spamming best attack skill with non element wep and full attack gear even crapy attack gear is good here.
Make sure you keep your wep level 3 with whet stones
● Look for sala quest and do inn quests and daily as much as able you want the 100 quest achievement.
● and a spell shop(buy everything)
● Refrain from guantlets till 7
level 75 to 100
● Buy Adept
● Buy ghost
● Run arena
● Kill bosses and quest creatures
● Buy platinum amulets , and level salas hood and robe as much as one can. This is you loadout for everything.
Boots up to you.
Level 100 to 125
● Buy majestic
● Look for mirror in arena its your new offhand
● Look for rapier in a arena
● Use arena and quests to level quickly
● As berserk arena should be warcry, then spam best attack skill
● For hunter just spam arrowstorm and attack war cry up to you
Level 125 to 150
● Buy blademaster
● Use arena and quests to get to 135
● Look for estoc in arena
● Use sword play as soon as available as main dmg skill
● At 135 I recommend a new level strategy keep arena up as you want but switch to boss killing only, this gains alot
of keys fast for T7 And might net a nice wep or two
Level 150 to 175
Here do only guantlet till T8 and reap the large stack of summon scrolls

A second class line I found works very well also in my opinion this is the laziest version of this but it will work and it will
require little effort
You will play mage class line
By all of the early classes for the skills
But then druid line
This will give you a huge manapool
You can wear resistance gear
And early on before T9 the HP is not really that important you're probably going to get one or two shot anyway this way
you can at least continue a barrage of damage as long as you have a decent curved sword and you can wear warrior rings
early to compensate for dmg.

Part 13: Daemon* Forged - An End to my Ramblings and a Few Tips.

*Daemon refers to benevolent and noble spirits in Greek mythology.

Tips
1) Remember you don't need 0 def. Every class is different at each level, proper testing is needed for each at
different levels just keep gear def to a net zero
2) Res does not affect swash passive.
3) When playing realmshifter on world try using a mana potion when dead to gain 1 hp and then grind with a free
x2 attack
4) When in gauntlet and playing realmshifter you can try running one hp and only doing insta kill moves even
though you will die from berserk or dots you'll carry over to the next fight at 1 hp. Just don't miss.
5) Be wary of high dex enemies like succubus and immortal kin
6) Your faction element on world and gauntlet build is really good just use charge, (Opposite element) strike, blight
strike for stuff that is immune or resistant.
7) Some enemies have second chance and mystic feather
a) Try using stun lock skills and dots to take care of these passive

Personal challenges.

1) Reach 2 million dmg on each raid in under 2 minutes and join the 59min club
2) Do a gauntlet in less than 100 seconds
3) Do a gauntlet at 1 hp as realm from round 14 onward
4) Kill each T9 god and T10 boss berserked in one go
5) One hit arisen mammon in gauntlet
6) One hit mammon on world
7) Take 10 territory in under 60 seconds
8) Get past level 100 in endless hard(stupid hard due to rng)
9) Lenneth Valkyrie coup de grace challenge: Break 300k in arena with Coup de Grace. My current record is 487k
I'm sure yall can do better. (DC AND Gait of Gunnr recommended).
10) One shot an Arisen Hydra unbuffed first turn
11) Solo ashen Phoenix
