Special Procedures: Do not use a solid water stream as it may scatter and spread fire. Do not
allow run-off from firefighting to enter drains or water courses. Use water spray to cool unopened
containers.
Special Equipment: Firefighters should use self-contained breathing apparatus to avoid exposure
to smoke and vapor.
Hazards from Chemical: During combustion, oxides of carbon and oxides of nitrogen may be
produced.
Handling: Wear personal protective equipment as defined in Section 8. Avoid contact with skin,
eyes and clothing. Handle in accordance with good industrial hygiene and safety practices.
Storage: Store in a cool, dry, well-ventilated place in original closed containers away from heat,
open flame and out of direct sunlight.
