    Given is the diagram illustrating the process of turning rainwater into water that can be

    used for domestic consumptions. Overall, there are various stages, beginning from a dam or

    a tank and ending in a river.

    At the first stage of the process, Rainwater is collected from personal tanks or dams when

    the rain pours down, and rainwater is then sent to water treatment plant to remove toxic

    chemical and harmful objects in order to provide households safe drinking water; however,
    in some households, rainwater is used directly from the tank for other usage purposes such

    as washing clothes and gardening.

    After being used for domestic purposes, wastewater is led to either the stormwater

    treatment or the wastewater treatment plant to eliminate dangerous chemicals and

    pollutants. In the next stage, recycled water is transported back to houses for further

    human consumption while excess treated water and clean wastewater from the stormwater

    treatment is released to a nearby river.
