Exercise 1 : Desktop publishing (DTP) is document creation using page layout skills on a personal

computer. Desktop publishing software can generate layouts and produce quality typography of text
and images comparable to traditional typography and printing. Desktop publishing refers to the
process of using a computer to produce documents such as newsletters, brochures, books, and other
publications that were previously created manually.

Exercise 2 :

Exercise 3 :
a. First, the DTP designer decides the basic form of the document (the type of document, general
