    I learned that the past perfect is used to refer to things that had taken place in the past before something else happened, it is formed as
    in Spanish, with the past tense of the verb to have in its auxiliary function (had), plus the participle Past of the main verb.

    In the simple past or past simple I learned it is a tense that expresses situations or actions that occurred in the past, and although they
    may be from the recent past or the distant past.

    I also found the topic of technological advances very interesting.
