1.Describe your hometown.

Now i would like to share with you about my hometown. I live in the countryside
in Hai Duong. It’s 80km far from Ha Noi, the capital of VN. Although I live in Ho
Chi Minh City now, sometimes I still return to my hometown to escape from the
busy life and to visit my grandparents.
You know, whenever I want to enjoy the slower pace of life, Hai Duong is the best
option to help me free my mind. The village I live is surrounded by the rice paddy
field. Walking in this field after a long day of school in the pleasant weather of
the north makes me feel much more relaxed.
Moreover, Hai Duong is really famous for grean bean cake, gai cakes, fish rice
noodles, and so on. There have been many internal and even international tourists
who love these specialties. Especially, the scenic areas here are also very close to
nature for example: Red Maple Forest, Con Son Mountain, Ngoc Well, so on.
When you visit these locations, you will feel a sense of peace that is different from
other cities. There are also ceramic arts (làm gốm) and water puppet shows (múa
rối), which contribute greatly to Vietnamese culture.
I love my hometown from the bottom of my heart. The people here are actually
warm-hearted and kindness.They give me a feeling of community that I can hardly
find in my current residence, where neighbours see each other as strangers.
2. Describe a sport event that you watched or attended.

Now i would like to talk about a sport event that i watched. To be honest, i was not
really fond of sport at first because i found quite boring. While sports, particularly
football are one of my bestfriend’s favorite activities.
You know, sport tournament between schools in my province is held every year.
And about 2 years ago, my friend was chosen to compete in a football competition.
At that time, i was really looking forward to it because it was not only my
bestfriend’s match but also the biggest event i have ever watched.
In addition to football, this event also had a lot of competition such as: basketball,
volleyball, and so on. It took place in the largest stadium of my province and there
were so many students, teachers and even parents coming to cheer.
You know, when i got to watch the football match in reality, i didnt expect it as
thrilling as it was. The audience was totally focused and fascinated on
cheerleading, making this event even more exciting. However, it was quite hard for
me to watch the whole match because i couldnt see the replay of scoring moments
like on TV. However, the result didnt disappointed me, finally, my friend’s team
win as well as bringing the football championship to my school.
I had a great time enjoying the match and i also feel more interested in sports now.
3. Describe a new story that you read/ saw.

Honestly speaking, I am not really interested in news, but there was a news that
popped up on my facebook newsfeed and caught my attention. It’s a kind of life
newspaper. The news is about Vietnamese supermodel Kha Trang being abused
and this caused a stir on social media, causing many netizens to feel angry.
KT was abused by her husband. Although she had just given birth and was in
confinement at that time, her husband still cruelly beat her. Her pictures that she
shared on personal page showed injuries, blood all over her body. That was such
an upsetting image of her that i've ever seen
Furthermore, she also revealed that she was locked in the house, was beaten for a
year and she was poured cold water on her body, just because of an argument with
her husband. As you can imagine, her husband was so disgusting.
Many people think that when such a beautiful supermodel gets married, they will
live a happy life, but absolutely not. I have seen many similar cases like this, and
this news really infuriates me because the husband is so cruel. If I were in that
scary situation, I wouldn't be able to stay calm and keep my sanity.
Well, even though I read it three weeks ago, when i remember, it still makes me
feel terrible. Finally, I just want to say that I hope all women will get the better
things that they deserve in the future.
4.Describe an exciting journey you once took.

Well, I really into travelling because I am a kind of curious person who is
interested in exploring about different locations. I've been to several destinations,
however the trip to Da Lat alone was a fantastic journey that makes me
unforgetable.
Around 2 years ago, I accidentally saw a review of a trip to Dalat alone on social
media, the photos that a guy shared about the stunning landscape and some of the
local delicacies which captivated me so eventually I made the decision to travel to
Dalat on my own.
The first thing I have to say when I arrived at Dalat is how cold it was. As you
know, the weather in Ho Chi Minh is hot all year, so enjoying the colder
atmospheree there made me extremely comfortable.
I visited many well-known attractions such as Langbiang Mountain, Tuyen Lam
Lake, Dambri Waterfall, and so on. At that moment I had no words to describe the
scenery there. Traveling alone in such breathtaking views made me feel inner
peace. It provided me an escape from my busy life.
At night, I took a walk along the market and tried various specialties there, such as:
strawberry shake, avocado ice cream, Dalat can cake and so on. They were all so
tasty.
To me, it was the greatest experience I've ever had, I absolutely feel less stressed
after that trip, and although I traveled alone, I had an exciting time in DL.
Especially I also had many beautiful photos to mark this memorable trip of mine.
5. Describe a successful business in your country.

With the help of many successful companies and groups, Vietnam has developed at
an incredible rate. And the one that I really into is a kind of coffee company: Phuc
Long. This company has been around for a long time.
I think that the majority of those who work there are young people, especially new
graduate students. Working there has several benefits for them, such as earning
money or developing their skills such as communication or time management.
The biggest reason for the success of this business is the flavor. With a reasonable
price, we have an excellent cup of milk tea so nowadays it is not difficult for us to
see young people today holding a cup of Phuc Long in their hands. In addition,
coffee, tea, and cakes are available for middle-aged customers. Phuc Long is a best
choice for them whenever they wanna hang out with their friends or work.
Currently, Phuc Long has a branch in the US and it is appreciated by many
Americans with the taste of Vietnamese coffee.
You know, if I have a chance, I will work here. Whenever I come to PL, i actually
love the cozy atmosphere and the staff service is also professional. For students
like me, working in such an environment will help me improve and gain more
experience for future job.
