1. Activity Description
With this activity, you are expected to achieve the following learning
outcomes:
The student will be able to describe his current achievements using Present Perfect.
Besides, the student will be able to write about his/her future goals in a mid and long-
term using mixed future tenses such Future Simple, Be Going To, Future Continuous
and Future Perfect.
Design and create a group’s presentation in Genially including all the members
narrative texts with the three paragraphs about “your current achievements and
future mid-term and long-term goals”, for that, you must do the following:
● Select your role in the collaborative work and do the corresponding activity.
● Write about your current achievements using Present Perfect.
● Describe your future mid-term goals using future simple, be going to and future
continuous.
● Share your long-term goals using the future perfect tense.
● Write a three-paragraph narrative text.

Dear Student,
You must consider the following aspects to write a narrative text. It must contain
three paragraphs, as follows:
You and your e-mates must choose a role (leader, evaluator, alerts, compiler, and
Deliveries). Read Annex 1 for more information about the Roles for the Collaborative
Work at UNAD.
Share the link of your online work in the WRITING FORUM to be checked and get
feedback by your tutor.
Each student must be attentive to his/her role to do the corresponding activity in the
forum, at the end of this task, deliver the final document on time. The delivery is
made by just one student per group.
1st Week
Step 1:
Create the spot in Genially and add all the participants in the group to be able
to edit
The student with the role of compiler will create a presentation in Genially and add all
the participants so anyone in the group can upload his/her narrative text. See Annex
2 for more information about Genially.
Step 2:
Write a paragraph (minimum 150 words) introducing yourself and describing your
current achievements using the present perfect tense. It's important to write at least
3 sentences in present perfect tense and highlight them.

2nd Week
Step 3
Write a paragraph (minimum 200 words) explaining your future mid-term goals (5
years down the line) including examples with future simple (will), be going to and
future continuous. You should write at least one sentence with each future form. It’s
important to highlight the required sentences.
3rd Week
Step 4
Write a paragraph (minimum 200 words) explaining your future long-term goals (10
years down the line) including examples with future perfect tense. You should write at
least 3 sentences with this tense. Highlight those sentences.

Based on the leader's decision every single student will assess an e-mate considering
the peer assessment form that can be found in the Annex 3
4th Week
Step 6
Self-assessment
After each student has written his/her narrative text, he/she will include a self-
assessment paragraph answering the questions presented in the Annex 3.

Final delivery - Consolidate your work
Consolidate the information of all the stages in the Genially and submit it to the
Evaluation Environment. The final document will be submitted by a student who
has the Deliveries Role.
• Check the agenda out to verify the opening and closing dates of the task
• Check out and study the Online Content (Level B2 from module 1 to module 4).
Enter the forum and participate in the development of Individual and
Collaborative tasks.
• Upload one Word format document with all the information required.
A Narrative Text in which the student demonstrates his/her knowledge in the language
to express his/her achievements, plans, hopes and expectations, as follows:

Final Paragraph: A self-assessment paragraph about his/her performance in the
individual and group work for the activity’s development.
Each student must select a role according to Annex 1 and accomplish the activities
assigned to it.
Based on the leader's decision every single student will assess an e-mate considering
the peer assessment form that can be found in the annexes.
• Each student must participate selecting a role and accomplishing the duties
corresponding to it.
• Each student must present his/her individual narrative text including the specific
information for each paragraph in the Genially Presentation.
• Each student must do the peer – assessment. At the end, each student must do
his/her self-assessment.
• In each group a single member will be chosen to submit the requested product in
the Evaluation Environment.
• Before submitting the requested product, students should check that it meets all
the requirements mentioned in this activity guide.

• Only the members of the group that participated with contributions during the
time assigned for the activity should be included as authors of the submitted
product.
Please keep in mind that all individual or collaborative written products must comply
with the spelling rules and presentation conditions defined in this activity guide.
Regarding the use of references, consider that the product of this activity must
comply with APA style.
In any case, make sure you comply with the rules and avoid academic plagiarism.
You can review your written products using the Turnitin tool found in the virtual
campus.
