Well, let us try to imagine how a missionary feels when back in the States, and maybe we might feel differently about hearing another one. Though we realize and appreciate the sacrifice of Missionaries leaving home, family and friends here to go make a new home in an entirely new atmosphere, do we ever understand the enormity of that and realize their real need for support? Please just consider their situation for a moment as if it were your own. You dont get to bring your parents or friends along for moral support or get to take much with you that you cherish. You will be in a new place not to satisfy any of your own desires but to fulfill the needs of others, so you will be taking with you, instead, things that others there will need. Lets skip the years you spent forming your new life, your new connections, because that is most likely something you have considered in the past, when deciding whether or not you, yourself, were going to become a missionary, so lets now consider instead, what it feels like to come back home. God bless you! Prohibitions against prayer are now common in most public school graduations. But some students at a high school in Washington, Illinois, came up with a way around the ban. Ryan Brown, a graduate scheduled to give a speech, paused to bow in silent prayer as he approached the podium. Moments later, with all eyes on him, Brown faked a sneeze. In response, a handful of his friends shouted, God bless you!
