TANGLED is when something is twisted together in a messy or


confusing way, making it difficult to separate.

DROWSING is being in a state of light sleep, when someone is just
starting to doze off and may be still somewhat aware of their
surroundings.
Example sentence:
The cattle lay drowsing all day long under the willows and only
moved out at night to feed.
SHADOWY is something that is dark or dimly lit, often with a lack of
clear definition or detail.
Example sentence:
We sat on rocks in a shadowy cove.
AMBLE is to walk in a relaxed, leisurely manner, often without a
specific destination.
Example sentence:
Every evening, we amble along the dike.
TELEPHONE refers to a device that allows individuals to
communicate with each other over a distance by transmitting sound
signals. It is also known as a phone or a landline.
Example sentence:
I use my telephone to call my friend who lives across the country.
