Preliminary Steps
Preparation
1. Prepare all needed materials and implements.
2. Prepare the patron.
3. Re-examine patron’s scalp.
4. Select desired color.
5. Put on protective gloves.
6. Make color strand test.
7. Prepare the formula.
Procedure

9. Leave tint until the desired color has developed evenly from scalp
to the ends.
10. Rinse hair with lukewarm water to remove excess color.
11. Remove stains around the hairline, ears, and neck.
12. Shampoo hair and rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water. Towel
dry.
