Abstract – This paper presents a summary of the most recent literature on the history of numerical
modelling of helical piles. The current paper highlights the value of numerical modelling and details
the work done using several programs like PLAXIS, ABAQUS, and L-PILE. The results of many
software programs are combined to forecast the load transfer mechanism of helical piles under various
loading circumstances. By utilizing its different properties, soil conditions, and load patterns, helical
piles are numerically modelled. The importance of numerical modelling has grown over time, and
numerous pieces of software have been created to obtain findings rather than doing expensive and
time-consuming experiments. Results from numerical modelling are largely adequate.
