For me, I live in between. I don’t drink alcohol and I don’t smoke even vape. I
drink at least 3 liters of water a day. I eat maximum fruits and vegetables. And I
don’t consume sugar that much because I am not a big fan of sweets. And
moreover, I play sports in my free time like badminton, volleyball, and ping pong.
I also love reading books and poetry especially for my mental health. However, I
rarely work out and exercise. I do workout usually 1–2 times a week and that I
consider myself lazy. There are times that I don’t care much about how much
calories and cholesterol in a food I eat. I also don’t have enough sleep. I sleep
like around 12-1 am and wake up at 6 am.
The answer is pretty much in the question itself -to have a healthy life. Our lives
have become so unbalanced in today's world, and everyone is aware of the
consequences, so it's wonderful that individuals still take time out of their hectic
schedules to focus on their health. People are health conscious given the
number of young generations afflicted by diseases like diabetes, cholesterol,
back problems. People also aims of feeling better mentally – regular exercise can
lift your mood and help you feel better. Having a healthy lifestyle can save money
– eating junk food, smoking, and drinking sugary drinks or alcohol are all
expensive habits. Also, it leads to fewer health problems – living a healthier
lifestyle means a lower risk of developing many illnesses. Now the average
lifespan has also increased significantly with corresponding improvements in
health care.
I think the main purpose of it is to have the opportunity, capability and motivation
to act in a way that positively affects your physical and mental well-being. Paying
attention to what you eat, being physically active, and learning more about your
food and yourself in meeting your health goals.
