I. Introduction

Have you ever presented bad health conditions due to having bad eating habits?
Problems sleeping well, obesity problems, afraid of gaining kilos quickly, being
anxious to allow many flavors in your meals, stress problems, physical problems,
etc.

These health problems are caused by having bad habits, there are countless bad
habits that only harm our health and damage our lives. But as young people we don’t
pay attention and we assume that we are strong, that we endure everything, that we
will never get sick and put our health aside.

For this reason and many more I’m going to talk about how having bad habits can
damage our lives and even bring us closer to a slow death. Not exercising as it can
affect the heart, brain, etc. Buying fast food, apart from being a big expense, can be
killing your body. Staying awake for no reason can lead to enormous physical and
mental spending. All these situations have been experienced by me. They are too
dangerous situations and I am also going to give you advices to improve your health
habits since it is necessary to learn from this.

Perhaps at this time it is not a topic of global interest, because preference is given
to other topics such as technology, education, sports, artists, etc. And they put aside
health, which should be the main topic before all of them. This is why I have decided
on this topic to be developed by myself.

At present, children and adolescents are harmed in large percentages for not
worrying about their health. Of course, in them it is not an important issue but in
others it is.
II. What are bad habits?

We all have some bad habit that we would like to change. These habits are rites that
we have followed since time immemorial and that make us feel in what we know as
a "comfort zone", that is, a space or a situation in which we feel comfortable and
safe.

Bad habits are, therefore, all those behaviors that we habitually do and that are
harmful to us and that often prevent us from achieving our goals, since they prevent
us from making the desired change.

The most common habits

1. To procrastinate
2. Stay at home
3. Sleep little and bad
4. Sitting in the same position for hours
5. Eating fast and without concentration

An inactive lifestyle can be a cause of many chronic diseases. By not exercising

regularly, you increase your risk of:
• Obesity
• Heart disease, including coronary heart disease and heart attack
• High blood pressure
• High cholesterol
• Stroke
• Metabolic syndrome
• Type 2 diabetes
• Certain types of cancer, including colon, breast, and uterine cancers
• Osteoporosis and falls
• Increased feelings of depression and anxiety
III. Bad habits experienced by me
Some of these situations have been experienced by me. My main reason for falling
into this is because I am busy working, studying and mainly losing my life as an
athlete.

For many years, sport has worked in my life in the best possible way, standing out
in too many areas. I used to do too many sports activities to be happy about my life
and health.

All the time any sport was practiced by me. When I was in the third year of my
university career, I decided to put aside all my sporting desires and focus only on my
career. It was difficult for my sporting life, but it was mandatory to quit.

Another hobby that I had was playing the violin. I used to play violin at the Ruben
Dario National Theater, but due to my university career I have also decided to put
aside my musical desires.

I didn't use to buy a lot of junk food, but now I do. I have seen changes in my body
and it causes me anxiety about acquiring new diseases and even obesity.

I didn't use to stop exercising by going to sleep for several hours. I used to sleep well
for eight hours, but studying almost all day prevented me from having a good habit
of getting enough sleep. I am currently living in a new neighborhood and I can't sleep,
this time, the sleeplessness is caused by a mini-supermarket that offers alcoholic
beverages and all the time there is a lot of noise, there are fights between people,
loud music from the visitors, shouts and insults between them, noise caused by
vehicles, etc.

3. Avoid television and technology in general during meals.
4. Drink enough fluids.
5. Include physical activity in the daily routine.
6. Limit sedentary activities such as playing video games or watching television.
7. Eat slowly

V. Conclusion

Currently I am taking new habits to improve my life. Playing soccer is my main reason
to resume sports routines and even to avoid junk food I have decided to cook my
own food, another new habit is to be drinking water instead of sodas. As the saying
goes, who does not pay does not win, and although doing exercises from scratch is
painful and difficult, the result of having a better life and health will be my reward.

As a result of this report, it is possible to conclude that in order to have a healthy life
we need to do several things that help us to have good health. There are several
factors that are useful for us to have a better life since taking care of ourselves helps
our body and mind to have greater longevity.

It is very important that we know these tips since by maintaining a correct diet we
will be preventing us from having chronic diseases, stress, being overweight, muscle
pain, etc. To maintain a healthy lifestyle, you have to start by making small changes,
which little by little will make you feel better and achieve comprehensive well-being.

Health depends on our habits, our behavior, our diet, our level of physical activity
and the environment in which we live.
