HOTEL POLICY

A. BOOKING AND RESERVATION

 Reservations may be done through the website, telephone, Facebook, Instagram, e-mail, or direct resort booking ONLY.
 All online reservations made should be guaranteed by Company’s Gcash or through ipay88.
 As an alternative, a deposit equivalent to fifty percent (50%) of the total amount of the reservation shall be required to
confirm the booking. The remaining balance thereof shall be paid at the front desk of the resort upon arrival and check-in.
Cash, credit card, cheque, and mobile payment are accepted.
 The payment link will be sent through the email address provided by the client.
 Payment is to be settled within 48 hours (2 days), or the payment link and reservation will automatically be
inaccessible.
 For credit payment, the cardholder must present an original valid ID to the cashier’s office for validation.
 NON-presence of the cardholder must provide an authorization letter and photocopy of his/her valid ID of the cardholder
supported by the authorized person’s valid ID.
 All room rates and day tour rates are subject to adjustment without prior notice.
 A screenshoot copy of the deposit/transaction is requested to send via email 72 hours before your booking for validation
purposes.
 Proof of payment must be presented to the front officer who processed the booking and send it to
[email protected]
 Picture or screenshoot copy of the transactions must be legible.
 The signed contract must be attached to the email. An electronic signature will suffice.
 A booking confirmation will be sent once the payment is verified.

B. REBOOKING AND NO-SHOWS.

 All payments are non-refundable.

The guest is allowed to modify the reservation by email or through official social media accounts.

C. CHECK-IN/CHECK-OUT

 Check-in will be done at the reception area. The standard room-in time at the resort is 1:00 PM. The standard check-out
time at the island resort is 11:00 AM. Late check-out may be requested from the Front Office, subject to availability.
 La Luz Beach Resort and Spa has the right to check guests’ belongings upon entering the resort premises.
 Food and drinks cannot be brought into the premises of the resort without prior arrangements and payment of corkage fees.
Bringing of alcoholic drinks is strictly prohibited

ROOM KEYS
 Room keys are issued to the registered guest(s). No room keys will be issued to youth under 18 at any time. I.D. is
required if you have lost your key and require a duplicate. Please return room keys to Front Desk at Check-out.
 Room keys must be deposited at the reception or guest relation officer-in-charge whenever guests leave the premises
of the Resort and at the time of check-out. Lost keys will be charged against the account of the guest. The lost keys key
will be charged P1000 each.
D. PARKING
 Park at your own risk. The company assumes no responsibility for loss or damage to parked vehicles. Use of car covers
is advised.
E. DAMAGE TO PROPERTY
 Guests are obliged to pay for any loss or damage of hotel property caused by themselves, their friends, or any person
for whom they are responsible.
 The Guest shall be solely liable and responsible to the management, its other guests, invitees visitors, agents, and
servants for all loss financial or otherwise and damage that may be caused by such articles or as a result of the guests'
negligence and non-observance of any / instructions.
F. HAZARDOUS GOODS
 Bringing goods and/or storing of raw or exposed cinema films, or any other article of a combustible or hazardous nature
and/or prohibited goods and/or goods of objectionable nature is prohibited.
 Gambling, contraband, prostitution, weapons, explosives, flammable objects, poisons, drugs, animals, and pungent
food are strictly prohibited on hotel premises.
G. FORCE MAJEURE
 In case of acts of God, fortuitous events, or any condition beyond our control, La Luz beach resort and spa or our
carriers shall not be held responsible for failure to deliver services, nor be obligated to provide additional services.
Delays and/or cancellations of flights and/or boat transfers resulting from or related to weather disturbances or as
mandated by Government authorities are beyond the control of La Luz beach resort and spa.
 Any accident due to the client’s negligence or under the influence of alcohol, La Luz shall NOT be liable

ADDITIONAL POLICIES

SWIMMING TIME

 Beach–6:00AM - 6:00PM
 Swimming pool 6:00 AM-10:00 PM
 The use of proper swimwear is strictly observed in the swimming pool. Children under seven (7) years of age must be
supervised by an adult in and around the pool area at all times. Bringing food and drinks is not allowed.
 Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the rooms, cottages, and public dining areas. Smoking shall only be allowed at
designated smoking areas.
 Resort guests are obliged to make an effort to keep the surroundings clean. Guests should refrain from throwing
rubbish anywhere other than the strategically located trash bins.
 Resort guests are expected to behave in a manner not disruptive to the peace of the Resort and of the stay of other
guests. Loud noise is strictly prohibited beyond 10:00 PM-7:00 AM. The resort management reserves the right to ask
misbehaving guest/s to leave the premises of the Resort.
 To keep the resort’s serenity, speakers are NOT allowed.

PETS POLICY

 La Luz is a pet-friendly resort. Dogs and other animals can only be accommodated in the resort for day trip guests only for
an additional cost of P250/ pet. If the guest becomes ill or injured, the hotel can help the provision of medical assistance or,
as the case may be, arrange for the guest to be taken to the hospital, all at the guest’s expense.
 We no longer allow pets for overnight stay

LOST & FOUND POLICY


La Luz Beach Resort and Spa assumes no liability for lost, misplaced, stolen, or damaged valuables or belongings. If you discover
that you have left behind something of value to you, please call us immediately and we will try to assist you in locating your lost item.

FOUND ITEMS

La Luz Beach Resort and Spa is not responsible for any item left behind by a guest. However, any item, except
perishable items, left behind by our guests and found after departure by Housekeeping will be collected, logged in, and
kept in a secure location for collection by the owner for up to fourteen (14) days. Records of Lost & Found items are
retained for five years. Reasonable effort will be made to notify the guest that an item has been found. Perishable
items, underwear, and miscellaneous toiletries are discarded.

RETURN

We would be happy to return your recovered/found item(s) to you by LBC Service. Shipping The shipping shouldered by the client.
La Luz Beach Resort and Spa is not responsible for any item lost or misdirected during shipment by the LBC.

UNCLAIMED ITEMS/NO CONTACT


Lost & Found items are held for fourteen (14) days while we attempt to contact the guest. If guethe st contact information is incorrect
and we are unable to contact the guest during the fourteen (14) day holding period, the unclaimed item(s) are thrown away, given to
local organizations, or disposed of accordingly by La Luz Beach Resort and Spa.

AMENDMENTS
Guests are obliged to observe the provisions of these House Rules. If a guest is in breach of these rules, the hotel has the right to
refuse the agreement on the provision of accommodation services before the agreed period has elapsed.

ECOLOGICAL FEE
Municipality of San Juan, Batangas is charging PhP 20.00 per head for the Ecological fee

Rules and regulations might be changed at any time at the company’s discretion

PROHIBITED ITEMS AND CORKAGE FEES

The following items are not allowed in the resort:

 Outside Food and Chips (Meals / Viands)


 Beer in bottle or in can
 Soda / soft drinks in bottle or in can
 Energy drinks and any bottled or in juices in cans, ex. C2
 Portable speakers
 Party Poppers
 Sandwiches
 Fruits
 Fireworks or sparklers (must be declared if used for photo-shoots)
 Harmful and sharp materials
 Firearms or any deadly / nuclear weapons
 Drugs or any illegal substances

Free of Corkage:

 Water
 Biscuit (depending on quantity)

The following items are subject to corkage fees:

 Wine P 500.00 / bottle


 Brandy / Scotch / Whisky P 800.00 / bottle
 Tequila / Vodka / Rhum / Gin P1,000.00 / bottle
 Cake P 500 / piece or box
 Additional charge for 1 litre and above.

Beer and any other alcohol/ beverages are sold at the restobar of the resort.
