• Mentoring:
• Each student completing the Job Readiness training, leaves with an action plan on the next steps of what he/she
needs to do. These maybe - finding jobs, enrolling in courses, self-learning, etc. depending upon the student’s
personal goals and needs identified in the training.
• The student gets one on one real-time mentoring to ensure the student follows the action plan and gets support
in achieving it and/or problem solving if any.
• This also helps keep track of the students and customize our trainings and other capacity building inputs to their
needs.
• Scholarship:
• During the training, we realised that all students would benefit from three courses that would align them better
on their path to achieve their goals.
• An English proficiency course, digital literacy course and an entrepreneurship course is being designed in-house
which will be made available to the students free of cost.
• In addition to this, scholarship support to pursue academic education and/or courses will be available on a case
to case basis.
Our programs are designed keeping the individual beneficiary experience in mind. We strive to
ensure a safe and conducive learning environment for the beneficiary. We achieve this
through:
• Safe Space
• Every person from or associated with Muskurahat, interacting with the beneficiaries undergoes a
safe space training. Our Safe Space protocol is built to ensure physical and emotional safety of
the beneficiary - where he/she feels safe, respected, heard and valued to facilitate them to
engage freely.
• Value System
• We believe certain work ethics are crucial for an individual’s professional development. This
holds especially true for our target beneficiaries. In the guise of class rules, we introduce certain
intrinsic values such us respecting self and others, accountability, diligence, etc. that
beneficiaries are encouraged to follow it throughout the program. The aim of reinforcing this in
every session is to form a habit that inculcates in their work ethics.
With this project, we aim to empower these
students to realise their inner potential by
becoming their ‘Saarthi’ – guiding them on
their path.
